EXIT: The Game - Prison Break

We love all of the exit games! If you enjoy puzzles, you will love these! There is even music you can play to go along with each game. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them.

My oldest daughter and her friends love these games! They will sit and play them for hours.

We enjoy escape rooms, puzzle games and have played a few from this company so we had an expectation of how it should work based on our previous gameplays. Having said that, this one was disappointing & frustrating more than puzzling & fun like the others. With 2 of us, the team aspect was odd and then once we were able to work together, we still needed clues because while our approach was often right, the answer we arrived at was not. If you’re looking to up the challenge of your puzzle box fun, go with a different game from Exit, skip this one.

It was so hard that it was not fun for our teens. But quality items

We've played almost all of the Exit games and this one might be our least favorite. The part requiring two players was interesting, but the rest after that was just confusing. Some parts of the game didn't work correctly. We generally don't need to look up many hints, let alone solutions, but this one was an exception. Even after needing to look up the solutions for some puzzles, it still didn't make sense. Bummer because we'd been waiting for a new one to come out.There are games that have hard puzzles and there are games that have obscure puzzles, and this game was the latter for us. I'd recommend playing just about any other Exit game instead.

The EXIT series are my absolute favorite!!

We love these games. They’re fun and challenging.

This one is a team game where the first half of the game you must work separately, but together. I LOVED this aspect of the game! That being said, and knowing this is a more difficult chapter of the EXIT series (I've done more difficult versions than this and didn't have problems), I really thought the puzzles seemed a little too challenging or required "leaps" in logic - especially since you could only see half of the data at first. The final solve - there is NO WAY I can imagine anyone solving it in the 12 minutes they give you (I think they designed it so that you would have to reset the timer and solver again). Just, in general, I felt frustrated with some of the puzzles in this box - and that is NOT the way I normally feel about EXIT.
