Money well spent
The merchandise arrived on time package with great care, the appearance was very well done sturdy the product weight is heavy when picked up the enamel on the outside the color was beautiful deep blue. Very well made totally satisfied, truth to its size the inside of this Dutch Oven is deep and made wide enough to make meals for a family of 6-8 easily. Inside of Dutch oven is nonstick which makes it easy to clean and the lid fits perfectly. Looking forward to cooking meals for myself, family, and friends

Substantial and easy to clean
I really like this Dutch oven! It feels substantial and well made for the price, and the 5.5-quart size is perfect for family meals. I used it to cook a 3-pound roast, and it handled it beautifully. The enamel finish made cleanup really easy, and I love that it doesn’t require seasoning. The heavy cast iron holds heat well, and the lid helped keep the roast moist and tender. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s a great size, feels durable, and performs well without spending a fortune. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen.

beautiful Dutch oven value
Nice color and quality of this medium sized cast iron Dutch oven. The gradient colored blue is very elegant that you would find in more expensive brands. The interior enamel is nice and smooth in a traditional cream color. The weight of the pot is as expected. But the weight of the lid is disproportionally heavy for its size. I wished the lid was 1/2 the weight, by reducing the thickness to that of other 5 qt models in different brands. The extra weight of the lid doesn't seal any better as steam still escapes over the edges of the lid to relieve pressure. Using in the oven works as expected to provide 360 degree even heating and even browning with consistent fond development. This pot is very versatile for stove top browning and tranferring to the oven to braise. Oven baking for slow braised stews or round breads for excellent crusty results. Very tender pot roasts and even browning on sourdough bread loaves. Cleaning with initial soak and light sponge wipes off baked debris easily. Great looking Dutch oven and a great value.

Affordable, pretty, Durable and cooks evenly.
This is a really good Dutch oven, and I am delighted to own and use it. The price was right, and as I am a stickler for my pots and pans when I am in a cooking frenzy, it was well worth the money. From my award-winning chili, sauces, and soups, this pan has thus far been my go-to for anything that requires a Dutch Oven. Good job. The color is nice too; I like green, and this green is a kitchen green.

Pretty and functional! Great for sourdough
Love this Dutch oven. Never knew I needed one until I decided to start making sourdough! So went for the color and I saw someone on Instagram making sourdough and they were using Overmont. This one is so pretty. And it worked great! It’s cast iron covered in enamel and it’s cleans so easily and doesn’t stick. Thelkid has little bumps on it and I’m sure there’s a reason for it but not sure what that is. lol. It’s heavy but it cooked my first sourdough loaf just perfectly. I love it!! I’ll have to see what else you can use a Dutch oven for now. Hahaha.

Great for the price!
I'm a novice baker, and my cooking experience comes primarily from trial, error, and Gordon Ramsey-hosted cooking shows, so feel free to take this with a grain of salt. But this dutch oven has exceeded my expectations. I did a LOT of reading before this purchase and had basically come to the conclusion that I might have to shell out $100-200 on a brand name dutch oven if I wanted anything of value. I just couldn't justify that though. My main reasons for buying were bread baking, meat braising, and soup stewing. I wanted something roomy and oven safe with a lid. That's it. So I took a gamble and bought this Overmont. First off, it has WEIGHT. Like, "oh wow I need to work out my upper body" kind of weight. I like this. I know it makes cleaning and lifting more of a chore, but for what you're about to put it through, it's the least you can do. None of the enamel came chipped or cracked and the color is just like the picture. I like that the handles are handles and not just nubs - it makes it easier to grip when moving it around. I hand washed with soap and warm water before using it. I baked some cheese bread in it first, and it handled being preheated in a 450 degree oven for 30 minutes, then another 45 minutes of baking at the same temp. I figure if it can handle that, I know it can handle mostly anything else. It heated evenly, the bottom didnt burn, and despite the large size of the pot in relation to the bread, the bread didn't spread and fill out in the pot! Can't wait to use it for something like beef bourguignon or french onion soup next. For bread baking, it checks all the boxes. My only con? For those with small apartment ovens like me (mine is a Hotpoint with a bottom heating element), the handle of the lid MIGHT restrict its placement in the oven. I had the rack in the center, but when I went to put it in the oven, the handle of the lid bumped into the broiling element so I had to move the rack down one. Not the biggest inconvenience, but I was pleasantly surprised to see my bread didn't burn despite being one notch closer to the heating element. Guess that's just a testament to the sturdy construction of this thing. Only time will tell how it holds up but for now, I'm happy with my first dutch oven.

Great buy!
I LOVE my Dutch oven. I bake bread as well as make roast etc in it. The only issue that I have had is some paint chipping off of it. But it’s a very heavy duty product. It hasn’t burned and looks beautiful even after use.

Robusta, bellissima e performante. Straconsigliata!

Love it.
I love this Dutch oven and haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve used it for sourdough, soups, and pasta and it’s been great for all of them. It deglazes very well, and comes clean easily. I’ve soaked it occasionally just to make cleaning super easy but it hasn’t been necessary. I adore the colour, the lid fits well, and the enamel is nearly perfect with the exception of one TINY spot that didn’t get covered but it doesn’t impact cooking at all and I haven’t had any issues with it. Pics of before and after deglazing, and the tiny imperfection. Overall I love this Dutch oven, you can’t beat the price, and I’d definitely recommend it.

A fantastic Dutch oven for the price, and perfect for sourdough baking!
I've been on the lookout for a new cast iron Dutch oven ever since my trusty old one, which I had for over a decade, sadly broke during a house move. Having gone without one for a while, I recently got into baking sourdough bread and realised it was the perfect excuse to buy a new one. After countless hours of researching the ideal size, coating, and colour, I decided on this Overmont 6.6L enamelled cast iron Dutch oven, specifically because I wanted a larger capacity for baking bigger loaves, and I’m so glad I did! At first, I was sceptical since I'd never heard of Overmont before, but everything about this oven won me over. The size is absolutely perfect for large sourdough loaves, casseroles, and hearty stews. The enamelled coating is not only beautiful, but incredibly practical. The bright orange finish was exactly as shown in the photos, vibrant and eye-catching, which I was thrilled about since you often don’t get that level of accuracy when ordering online. One of the things that stood out immediately was how well-made this Dutch oven is. The moment I lifted the box, I could feel its solid build. It is heavy, just like you’d expect from quality cast iron, and feels durable enough to last a lifetime. I was particularly drawn to its ability to handle high heat both on the hob and in the oven, which makes it perfect for searing meats or getting that amazing crust on a sourdough loaf. In terms of performance, this Dutch oven doesn’t disappoint. It heats up quickly and retains the heat exceptionally well, which is crucial for baking. I’ve baked a few loaves of sourdough in it already, and each one has turned out with a beautifully crisp crust and soft, airy interior. It also works wonders for slow-cooked dishes like casseroles and stews, locking in moisture and flavour thanks to its tight-fitting lid. The delivery was fast, and the packaging was impressive. Everything arrived in pristine condition, including some lovely extras like the cotton potholders, which have already come in handy. I only paid £50.49, which feels like an absolute steal for the quality you get. It is comparable to high-end brands but at a fraction of the cost. If you're after a Dutch oven for baking or slow-cooking, this one is definitely worth considering. It is fantastic value for money, built to last, and performs like a dream. I’m thrilled with my purchase and would highly recommend it to both first-time buyers and those looking to upgrade. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope that you found it helpful and that it assists you in your decision-making. I try to be as honest and fair as possible, as those have always been the reviews that helped me the most.
