Cheatwell Games World's Smallest 1000 Piece Puzzle Matterhorn

I love these jigsaws so much I have 6, and having just discovered there are 3 more, will be buying them shortly. They are A3 in size, so if you have a reasonably sized tray I find they fit on perfectly, great for putting away easily, no more wailing and teeth gnashing every time someone wants to use the dining table. The quality is excellent, the pieces are nice and thick and fit together well, and the size of the pieces is just about the same as an average-sized fingernail. I actually had my husband bring one into hospital for me when I was being induced with our second child- I was stuck in bed all day, with nothing to do, and I managed to do the whole thing. Don't let that fool you into thinking these aren't a challenge- I buy these precisely because a regular 1000 piece puzzle just isn't a challenge for me any more, and the only reason I completed it so quickly was a combination of being dared by the tea lady and sheer bloody-mindedness! At a fiver each they're a relative bargain, and I strongly recommend them. If you're looking for something cheap, good quality and easily portable, I can highly recommend these. I bet you could even do them in the car. :)

It is a real good challenge. The pieces are so small and easy to lose. One afternoon I found a piece of puzzle sticking to my arm when I was working in the living room. I assumed at least 2-3 pieces had been gone. So after I got the last two pieces from the floor and all pieces fit well, I could not described how happy I was. The size of the finished 1000 pieces puzzle is only two third of a normal 500 puzzle. No poster included, the cover image is too small and no details. The color is lighter compared to box image. There is only one type of puzzle style, a bit boring. Overall the cardboard is rigid and pieces fit well. Not easy to get wrong. I am happy of this purchase and may look for another one .

There is only one flaw to this jigsaw, the picture on the box is a zoomed in version of the actual puzzle, leaving around 35% of the top and 10% of the bottom left to your imagination when completing it. This makes it even harder than it's supposed to be, which may put off some people. Otherwise for it's price it is excellent, the piece quality is very good and the finished jigsaw looks great (practically picture worthy). The pieces are about half the size of normal 1000 piece jigsaw pieces, so it may be difficult for those with vision problems. For £5, it is a solid 5 hours+ of entertainment, great value and experience, pity about the picture not matching the jigsaw.

Nice when completed but would not buy ever again took three weeks to complete and I’m a jigsaw fanatic. Never again snd I’ve bought two if this size. Serious hard work and on the eyes .

A real challenge

Superb quality and great value for money. Do not be complacent though, it is REALLY hard to complete and the pieces are tiny, at least a quarter of the size of a standard 1000 piece puzzle. This surely expert level and for those with good eyesight. Great if you only have a small space to lay it out.

This looked like it would be tons of fun, "World's smallest 1000 piece Jigsaw" sounds like a challenge, and anyone that likes puzzles will tell you that an easy puzzle is no fun. So I love the concept and would definitely do another tiny jigsaw again (as I've noticed there are various different pictures you can make, as you might expect). I do have a few issues with this though, despite the fact it was good to build. The biggest issue I had was that the pieces were ridiculously flimsy. I assume it's because they're so small but they're thin and easily bend (and I'm far from heavy handed). Similarly, the pieces just don't hold well together, they slide in and out of place with the slightest nudge - even a nudge of your sleeve will do it!! A small issue: The picture on the front of the box isn't actually exactly what you're getting. There are two additional buildings, one on each lateral side of the puzzle that don't appear on the picture on the box. Having said this, there is a teeny-tiny picture on one side of the box which is the actual puzzle. Not really a big deal but worth a mention. The other thing I noticed was I had a number of duplicate pieces - great if you lose one but otherwise just added confusion!! Still, overall a nice product.

Erst einmal: per Luftpost aus England und dann pünktlich eingetroffen finde ich toll. Diese Puzzle sind super von Qualität und Präzision und brauchen bei 1000 Teilen nur einen Platz von 42 x 29 cm. Es sollte mehr davon geben. Ich würde sie wohl alle kaufen.
