I have no idea if this shampoo would have worked or not, as I took one look at the minuscule bottle and immediately returned it. Pay attention to the size and decide for yourself if it's worth it.

I have super sensitive skin and I bleach my hair blonde. I get seborrheic dermatitis on the back of my scalp, especially when I touch up my roots which tends to irritate the heck out of my scalp. I have used several products; DHS, head and shoulders, Vanicream free & clear, t/gel....and this works the best of all of them. Legit works in one wash but make sure you keep using it, every 3 days. Doesn’t dry out my hair the way SLS shampoos do and the active ingredient, piroctone olamine, is the most effective scalp treatment I’ve experienced yet. Dries out my wet spots and reduces the affected area dramatically. Swear to god I’m not a salesperson, just a skincare enthusiast who does a lot of research.The cons is definitely the minuscule bottle with a disproportionately high price tag. I do not use it on my entire head, though, just my inflamed part, and the rest of my head gets a sulfate free hydrating shampoo, so it’ll stretch it out a bit. I do consider it a worthy investment as well.

This product works great for my scalp. When I ordered this time, the product came smashed and spilled due to shipping in a bag, not a box. The seller was very prompt and helpful and re-shipping me a replacement item in more secure packaging. Thank you!

It works! If you are considering this shampoo, you likely have tried many different products. I’m a female in my mid 30s with long, dark hair and I have suffered with dandruff my entire life. I got by for years on Selsun Blue or T-Gel, but then, as most dandruff products do, they stopped working. I turned to products I could order online and tried natural shampoos claiming to also help with dandruff. Nope! Didn’t touch my issue. Through a lot of online research I can across a website dedicated to dandruff (dandruff deconstructed) that has reviewed this product. It’s expensive! The size of the bottle is tiny and it only lasts me 4-5 weeks, washing my hair every 2-3 days. But, it works and leaves my hair soft and clean. Dandruff is tricky and no two cases are the same but if you’ve tried everything else, this may be the one for you too. I should note it wasn’t a one wash cure all. This has slowly improved my condition over several weeks and I’ve noticed I need to wash my hair every other day vs every 3 days for it to work best.

If I was reviewing just the product it deserves more than 5 stars. It works so well to calm my irritated scalp I was beyond impressed after having no luck with tar shampoo, head and shoulders, ketaconazale etc. Even when my scalp is itchy and raw this calms it down in 5 minutes. My issue with it though is the price. If it was 5x the size it would be more than worth it but the tiny bottle it comes in is too small and doesn’t last. And bear in mind I wash my hair maybe 2x a week and it only lasted about 2 months

I am extremely sensitive to fragrance which makes finding a dandruff shampoo difficult since they all usually stink and make me incredibly sick with migraines. This product has no scent at all and I noticed a difference in my scalp after the first use. 100% dandruff free after a few uses. The only drawback is that it is a laughably small bottle for the price. However, I honestly feel like it's worth it for me since I can't use the smelly stuff and this is the only fragrance-free option I have found to actually work. Love it. Buying again.

After reading all the reviews about what a miracle this shampoo is I was really disappointed. I have seborrheic dermatitis and have tried so many products trying to get my scalp to calm down, so even though this is a tiny bottle for the price you pay I was willing to give it a try. I have really sensitive oily skin, and when it gets stripped of its natural oils it goes into overdrive and produces even more oil. This shampoo made my hair incredibly greasy. I wash it every other day and usually it’s oily on the non-wash day but I can throw it in a ponytail and it isn’t super noticeable. This was like ten times worse. I used it several times and each time I’d wake up the next day looking terrible. Not even a ponytail could hide it. I sent it back, I’m not paying this exorbitant price for a product that makes my scalp that unhappy. Not sure it really did anything for my dermatitis either, but probably didn’t use it enough to really evaluate that.

This is the second sulfate-free dandruff shampoo I've tried and it's fantastic. It made a night and day difference. Sulfate shampoos dry out my skin like crazy, but I have seborrheic dermatitis so I have to use a medicated shampoo. Never found a good compromise until now! I am not exaggerating to say that this made a HUGE improvement with only one wash, and my scalp no longer feels like it's burning all the time. I also use it on my face (also get SD in my eyebrows and around my nose) and it helps there as well and hasn't broken me out. Strongly recommend.
