There are times where the name brand building block companies don't make a model you really want in your collection. I am a big Lego fan and have a decent number of sets displayed throughout my home. While I prefer the name brand overall, there are times I find something unique not directly made by them. These 'MOC' sets can be risky though as some are near-name brand quality with others just thousands of poorly made pieces in a bag that you hope include everything you need and directions only via PDF online. Thankfully none of that is an issue with this set! I have all of the name brand Indiana Jones sets and when I saw this MOC set it really looked like a fun take on the Last Crusade finale scenes. Everything comes in a very giftable box, including a very clear and well laid out direction book.The model is made up of four dioramas detailing the different challenges Indy goes through to reach the Holy Grail. The pieces are in numbered bags very logically laid out. You start out building the base of all four scenes then each subsequent bag contains the parts to complete one scene or challenge. The bricks are quite close to name brand quality, with only a few of the larger thin plates requiring a little extra push to fully connect them. Other off brand sets I have used often don't cleanly meet or attach with small spaces, but that was not an issue with this set. It was really fun how most of the sections have traps that can be triggered by pulling or turning a piece in the front of the model. It was also a nice touch that each challenge section had bricks on the front detailing the challenge phrases used in the film.In addition to the six bags of bricks, an additional bag of extra pieces is included. I only needed to go to these bags twice for a missing piece and suspect it was due to me dropping a brick. Similar to the name brand sets, each bag includes a small number of extra pieces as well. Once completed, I used some of the extra pieces for a little additional detailing though the 'by the book' build looked exceptional without my fiddling. There were no decals - yeah! - and all detailed bricks and minifigs had clear decorative designs printed on them.The minifigs all look great and assembled easily. The hands and arms are not attached requiring a little bit of assembly not typically needed in the name brand set. This is not difficult nor an issue, but a minor difference so wanted to note it.If you are into Indiana Jones, building block sets or just a movie fan, this is a great set for your collection.

Great 3rd party indiana jones moc. This is a steal with the 30% off coupon. Good part quality, with all printed elements. I am a perfectionist and hate the stickers the big L uses, so having them printed on the pieces is much better. Minifigures are good, they are fully apart though. Getting the hands in can be tricky.Pieces are the same size as Lego bricks. Fun and easy to assemble, bags are numbered.

Highest Recommendation!There are very few LEGO sets for Indian Jones and the Last Crusade as compared to some of the other films (and not large sets). When I saw this product, I had to get it to try it out as this is my favorite movie. The building set is comprehensive of the last major scenes from the show and the design is so detailed.The front reproduction of the old church, which is in Petra Jordan, is very close to the original. I love it. Each of the challenges to get to the last knight are in the set and are so detailed! The first one has a great play feature for the "blades" to pop-out. Then you have the room to spell the name of God. There are letters on the ground and they cave in if your push on the wrong one! There is also the bridge of "faith" to cross into the last knight. The final room with the knight and the holy grail is one of my favorite; it is so detailed with lots of chalices and gold.I was super impressed with the detail and the play features. I recommend that you invest in some more Indiana Jones fun! I did purchase a few other Lego minifigures to go with the set to complete it but that's easy enough to do.I've never tried this brand before but I'm a big fan now. It turned out so great and I'm very glad to have it in my Indiana Jones collection.

Purchased after I enjoyed the build on 77015. Not official but a very fun build with bricks that had good clutch, nice model action and very clear instructions. Well packaged in numbered bags. Just as good as the boys from Denmark. Overall an outstanding value for the money.

I have an eight year old grandson who loves Lego and Indiana Jones. He has the most recent Lego Indiana Jones sets. This set showed up while while I was looking. This particular looked awesome, had good reviews, and was on sale, so I bought it. I'm so glad I did. My grandson loves it. His dad built the set with him and they didn't have any problems. They sent me a video afterwards and this set is awesome! There is so much to it and it's pretty big. Great Set! We really do recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this build I think that it had a lot of clever parts usage and I enjoy the mechanics of each vignette... It's really cool how they incorporated so much movement to reenact the scenes.I cannot believe that this set has ZERO STICKERS! This is amazing and practically unheard of this day. What's absolutely amazing is how well printed all these pieces are that have some sort of design or lettering. The minifigures are high quality and the set is quite substantial. I would recommend this for older teens and adults especially an audience that can appreciate the scenery from the movie. It was quite big of a set I don't know where I will display it yet but it will look great next to my other temple set. Thank you for such high quality and for such value!

This is a great set & a super fun build. Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade is my favorite movie of the series, & this set lives up to its standards. Great quality, enjoyed the building process, & am having fun with all of the great play features of this set.

This set is compatible with Lego and builds just as nicely at a fraction of the cost. The instructions were easy to understand, and the pieces clicked together tightly. The scenes were also very detailed and captured the essence of Indiana Jones beautifully.
