These are better than Fridamom’s for icing/comfort but seem too flimsy for heat
I compared these side by side with the fridamom ones for icing and prefer these. The fridamoms come in a crazy-thick, non-removable lining which isn’t as flexible and comfy as these. (FM’s are also a bit too big/bulky for my C-cups but they work, MC is just a bit smaller and way more flexible.) FM’s might be better for heat which I haven’t tried yet and more resilient in general since they’re so thick, but so far MC is better for icing and more flexible by far which I prefer. The MCs come with a little cotton sleeve which you can take off to get some extra moments of icy cool whereas the FM ones just tap out sooner for cold and there’s nothing you can do but call it a day. Plus these ones can offer a more extreme icing right off the bat if you just leave the cotton sleeve off entirely, whereas the FM ones top off at a much less extreme temp since their casing is so thick. Both have been fine, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if these are less durable for heat though, they might just melt lol. I’ve only been using these to chill a bit after colostrum harvesting, but if the ladies were *truly* pissed off I might be more disappointed in the cold output from the FM ones and prefer these for more extreme cold, better longevity and more flexibility forming to the boob. These are the winners so far, but I’m definitely a hesitant about accidentally melting them if I do decide to try heat…. If you really want to do warm applications I’d do Fridamoms or just make your own microwave rice pads, these ones probably shouldn’t be trusted under heat stress.

Soothing and comforting
Excellent quality. Love how you can heat them up or put them in the freezer for cold relief. Every mama needs these!

Excelente producto.
Sirve para utilizarse tanto frío como caliente. En frío ayuda a aliviar el dolor de la lactancia y en caliente a disminuir las bolitas que puedes llegar a tener por la leche acumulada. Excelente producto.

Definitely Helps!!!
Love, love, love these things, especially for the Busty gals, they cover quite a bit of surface area. Tip double check the wattage on your microwave, if you choose to use that option because you probably only need 30 seconds or less otherwise they get hot very fast and stay hot for quite a while. When I first use them, I chose to use the hot function instead of the cooling function, I placed them and then after I removed them, I did a short five minute massage, I definitely feel I produce more, especially with it being a midday pump session. Very happy with my purchase! I am re-lactating being that I stopped one month, postpartum, due to having a very difficult recovery and not being able to keep up with the pumping sessions, so we supplement it with formula, but after doing some research: after three months and up to six months, is optimal timeframe to re-lactate, which is what I am currently doing and these are definitely helping. There’s still milk in there, and my body is still producing it, I just have to teach it to give me more, especially with the baby growing so is their appetite. Hope this helps.
