tickled!!!!
I have used henna for 15 years so I knew what to expect in purchasing this product. If you haven't used henna, please search the internet for information!!!! This may NOT be a product you want to use. This is not like the boxes of chemical dye in your local store. It will NOT lighten your hair and turn it to a different color. It WILL change lighter colors to darker colors, it WILL cover gray if you let it develop long enough on your head. You will NOT know how the color shade is when you rinse your hair. That will come in two days. But you WILL get a natural looking color that is full of highlights and lowlights instead of a flat shade like box dye. Just don't expect it to do something it doesn't have the power to do, and then come back and blame the product. That said, I hadn't used this brand until now. I was always pure henna and red, but have aged enough I wanted something more subtle. I chose the blond to color the grays and deepen my fading natural color, helping it to blend in with what I already have. I am so pleased!I washed my hair with clarifying shampoo, then I mixed the package. I froze half, since I was only wanting do my roots I didn't need it all. I let it stand about an hour in a warm spot then applied and left on for 3 hours. I didn't get full coverage of my grays. I honestly didn't expect to. What I did get was a lovely lovely variety of various shades of blond with a few sparkling gray blingy highlights. So natural looking no one will ever know I colored my hair. I suspect next time I use it, leaving it on longer would fully color those grays IF I want them hidden.I couldn't be happier with the product! Will continue using on my roots.

It works!
As a long time henna/indigo user, I am trying to grow out my white hair now. I am left with a stripe that separates very dark dyed hair from the newly growing salt and pepper hair and it looks, well, like you'd expect it to. Total garbage. I didn't want the whites to be too dark so I can continue blending them as more grows in so I went with the dark blonde color of this mix.As I mentioned, I've been doing this form of dyeing for ages now so I didn't follow the instructions on the package. I mixed some of the powder up with coconut oil, brewed (warm) chamomile tea, a dash of salt (helps the indigo work better), a dash of apple cider vinegar, and some amla and brahmi powder, probably a TBSP or so of each. I applied it right away and let it sit on my hair for 4 hours under a shower cap and towel. It worked great! It came out a warm blonde with just a hint of strawberry but not much of the reddish tones. It's exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't look stellar because I still have a darker line, but it does make it less glaringly obvious than the white, which is what I was going for. I will definitely be ordering this again and doing this maybe every 2 weeks to keep the color fresh. It's good for my scalp too so I actually love the other benefits of it anyway.I definitely recommend it if you are in the same situation as I am. Just don't want to look like a total freakshow as I am growing the gray out and it is serving this purpose. Eventually I'll be able to discontinue doing it altogether or I might stick with it to tone down my white hair a bit and not look quite as old until I'm ready. And I did this in 4 hours as opposed to the 9-10 hours it took me to apply henna first (6 hours), wash out, then apply indigo for another at least 3 hours then wash again. I'm getting too old to deal with that nonsense!

Too light and use only on wet hair
I tried it on wet hair that had just been washed, and it covered the greys quite well. The first time I put it on dry hair and I don't know why it didn't cover anything. I would have preferred a slightly darker colour! I hope it doesn't wash off all at once

It doesn't work!
Unfortunately, this didn’t cover my gray hairs. This was my second attempt, applied about a month after the first, and I left it on for over 3 hours each time. It only left a light reddish tint. If you’re hoping for full gray coverage, this product might not meet your expectations.
