Seems like it will be a good device
We bought this for our kindergartener so that she has a way to contact us and so that we can track her while she is on the bus. We just received it tonight. It was pretty easy to set up, it arrived charged and I did have to update it, restart it, update again but then it worked well. My 5 year old figured out how to explore the apps and make calls pretty quickly. She has some basic reading skills but most of the features seem pretty intuitive even though she can’t read all of the words. She used the watch continuously for calls, FaceTime, radio, and picture messaging, plus the two updates I installed, before it needed a charge. The call clarity is very good, she called her grandma multiple times and the connection was good every time. The parent control app has a lot of useful controls and I’m hoping it will be easy to control her usage during school hours. The watch itself seems physically sturdy and like it will hold up to kindergarten abuse. Hopefully this watch will be a good way to keep track of her and put us at ease when she is out of our sight.

Close, but no cigar
There are issues with the design of the software. Direct sms is blocked even if you are labeled as a parent. I would understand anyone who is not the parents. DND blocks everything including alarms. There are no exceptions and you cannot create a start and stop time. You pick a time that DND starts and then set the number of hours, basically, its a timer. When the watch is charging, notification don't always work nor alarms. The most recent up has improved this by a lot. Still, you cannot have DND and set exceptions for anything or anyone. I have to disable DND and call or send a text via the app. You can at least call without the app. Tracking could be better, and you can only see the picture and video if you adhoc to the watch. It cannot even do that if you're on the same network, it must be a direct connect to the watch. The watch itself is ok, I wish battery life was better. I also wish that I can do a callback with video as a parent. You can only do call back with audio. You cannot even do a remote snap shot of video and audio and GPS location like with you samsung. It also does not have a flair option that I can see. Which will take a snap shot video and GPS location with it last minute of battery. Still, I would buy, it just sounds a lot better on description. I hope that enhance it with those features.

Not accurate for location and poor signal strength
Not very accurate at all and poor reception with AT&T in my area of Florida.

Good option instead of cell phone!
Like the calling and FaceTime features, however the gps tracking needs to be more accurate especially when were paying a monthly subscription.
