Blast from the past
Who remembers these? I had them when I was a kid, and put them in my kids' stockings this year and it was the first thing they all went after (skipped the candy). They stick a tiny bit, but that's to be expected and part of the fun, I guess.

Great gifts
This puzzle is good for older people with mental capacity problems or youngsters (challenges them a little), or even take on an airplane or boring ride. Pieces can't be lost and it isn't too exasperating or mentally challenging for most. I found they make great small gifts.

Expensive but fun
The Schylling Number Puzzle is still fun. I bought a set of 4 costing around $18 which was a little expensive even considering inflation. The old puzzles were made in Japan and were of much better quality that these that are made in China. They still work using a mortise and tenon joint, however I had to remove bits of plastic from the tenons so they could seat properly. The numbers didn't glide easily but they never did until you added a drop of 3-in-1 oil. I didn't have 3-in-1 oil but fishing reel oil worked very well. Though fun, I would not have purchased them at that price had they not been Christmas gifts.

Still as interesting to play with as they were 60 years ago (and never need a new battery!
I’m surprised this puzzle is still being manufactured. I played with one as a child, 60-some years ago. I gave one to each of my grandkids for Christmas/ Hanukkah gifts. Once they caught on to the object, they sat for nearly an hour playing with them. I was quite surprised as they have no batteries, and no screen. They love them since time playing with them doesn’t count against count against their limited “screen time.”They only rate 4 stars because they are cheaply made. One hint is to put a small amount of something like petroleum jelly under the tiles and above the frame. The tiles slide more easily and stay in place. Without the lube, the tiles will shift slightly, preventing the movement of an adjacent tile.

These puzzles will be great for my grandkids! Good quality and will last. And to get a four pack was a bonus! Happy with purchase.

TOO SLOW
I grew up playing this game. This game unfortunately doesn’t allow the numbers to move smoothly between each other. SUPER SLOWS THE GAME DOWN.Not worth playing on this game produced as it is.
