Lovely book for anyone who loves Diana and her fashion sense. Lots of stories, too!

This book about Princess Diana and her style choices, being about 2/3rds (?) the size of a full sized book of fashion and a particular celebrity, is disappointing. The matte paper also brings it down. Photos such as these, despite having probably seen them all before, are most appreciated in full size and glossy paper. Still, it has its values in having a lower cost and being easier to carry around if one desires. As for the text, it’s interesting enough for bringing back all the memories, not only of that horrible day and the weeks that followed, but of the workings of the Royals and the effect on the life of a very young woman who was never quite welcomed (to say the least). How Diana evolved to use her incredible access to all manner of clothing and fabulous jewelry to its greatest effect on the world’s most elite, the folks on the street, and her husband and inherited family, is brilliant. I’ll say it’s a good introductory choice for someone who’s young enough to not have lived through those years and wants to start learning more. Maybe a bit high priced.
