Women's Calenne Clara

I've purchased this shoe in 2 colors so far in 2024, and they are part of my daily wardrobe while the weather permits. I purchased the black in the last 30 days, and now I have comfortable shoes that ADJUST during the day. Depending on my activity, I experience swelling in my feet and ankles on a routine basis. With the Clarks Women's Calenne Clara Wedge Sandal, I can QUICKLY and easily adjust any of the three straps to accomodate my changing needs. And, the adjustments are customized to my needs at that moment. No more buying different size shoes and carrying a back-up pair of shoes, just in case!! If I'm driving and feel my shoes getting tight,... I can easily adjust any strap at the next traffic light. ---If you can reach your feet, adjustment is just a moment away!!--- I purchase the "blue combi" (a nice denim color) in early spring. They quickly became my daily shoe choice. Because my lower legs and feet have lymphedema, the adjustability of this design provides peace of mind on the go, as well as a really cute sandal. They are PERFECT to wear to the nail salon for pedicures! NO need to leave in the foam disposable sandals. SPECS: ~I purchased 2 pairs of size 10 medium, and both pair fit as expected. ~The wedge heel is just enough to keep them from being flat. ~The LENGTH of each of the size 10 Medium shoes is 10 5/8" (measured with rigid retracting tape measure from the tip of the toe to the back of the heel. ~The HEIGHT of the sandal is 2", however the shoe sits on a 1" platform . The highest part of the sole (under the heel) measures 2". That means your heel is 1 inch higher than the ball of your foot, and this feels perfect to me. The 2" heel is not a 2" rise in this case. ~The underside of the leather straps is made of a padded fabric that is smooth and soft on your skin. ~The strap that goes across the front of your ankle has a section of elastic sewn in to provide added "give" while being worn. ~That same added elastic is sewn into the strap that run at an angle across your foot. This provides more "give". ~Each section of Hook & Loop closures are very ample, with a minimum of 2" of surface area to connect the opposite strap. That provides an extended area should you need it. ~The footbed is contoured to the best ergonomic shape of a foot with addiitonal squishy padding built in. ~To me, Clark's Ortholite footbeds are the most comfortable shoes, period. **For those of us who are die-hard Clarks fans, this is exactly the type of shoe that stole our hearts. It has the looks and comfort, too. I GIVE THIS ONE A 10 OUT OF 10. They are perfect. P S: CLARKS: please make more colors: White, Red, etc.

I went to Beall's store and saw these Clarks Women's Calenne Clara Wedge Sandals in Bronze Metallic Textile and really loved them. They were extremely comfortable and soft to walk on. I love the color and the metallic color blended with the bronze is not flashy but is a soft color easy on the eyes and looks nice on my foot. I am happy they have adjustable straps that I can tighten or loosen when I need to. My large toe bone sticks out slightly and these shoes covers it nicely and doesn't show the protrusion of the bone in my foot like some shoes. These shoes look to be well made and should last a long time with care. I didn't buy these shoes Beall because they did have half sizes. I tried a size 6 and was a little small. I was really disappointed because I really want to buy them. And I really didn't want to pay Bealls price of $69.99 plus tax. While still in the shoe section a thought came to me, and I checked Amazon to see if they were available. To my great surprised I was very happy to find these same shoes and in my size 6.5. I was also over-joyed to find Amazon sold these for less than Bealls and was $45.48. Needless to say, I was glad I check with Amazon first. For those of you who end up purchasing these shoes and know you will love them as much as I do.

So happy I purchased these for my trip to Greece and Egypt. Perfect for a ton of walking without my feet being stuck in a hot sneaker and more dressy than being in an athletic sandal. Good arch support and enough squishiness without being too squishy that they aren't supportive. I don't have any foot issues, but I do have some back/spine compression issues so a ton of walking in the wrong shoe can become a problem fast. Not with these shoes! Only side note: they are not good for off trail/uneven ground. That may seem obvious and not what they're advertised for, but if you do accidently go the wrong way, either be very careful or turn around. Don't ask me how I know.

I love the way these fit on my feet! No rubbing anywhere and feel comfortable all day long. My legs do not tire and I don't have any type of soreness or pain while wearing or after taking these off. I love the velcro bands and the capability to tighten or loosen these as I feel fit-both around the foot and across the toe area. Great sandals, enough of a wedge to walk properly, and look great with shorts or shorter pants. Not dressy at all but work well with jeans or capris.

Very cute. As with most Clarks the Shoe sole is very comfy... however the straps don't seem like a good fit. So disappointed, I had high hopes for this cute shoe!!!

Love these! True to size, look great, sturdy and so comfy. Other reviews said they felt heavy. I don't agree with that. Super lightweight.

Very comfy! Great for my plantar fasciitis. Wore them almost everyday this last summer. Love the metallic color.

These shoes fit well and were VERY comfortable. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 And my feet are slightly wide but boney, not chonky. Ordered these in 9 and the fit was great. The straps fit exactly the length of the velcro as designed. Just a heads up on that because if you have thick feet you will have to loosen these up and you are going to see some of the velcro exposed. They were a but heavier than I expected but not unbearably heavy. The straps adjusted easily and I did not notice any uncomfortable spots. I'm not able to give a long-term review because I returned them unworn as the natural color was a dull tan shade and not the slightly orangish brown as shown in the product photo, so they didn't match the handbags or belts I already have in that color. I probably would have kept them if the color was as shown in the product photo. Hope this was helpful!
