If what you’re looking for is a cute, nostalgic, sturdy ipad case that has a spot for your pencil and adapter, this is it. But you can read all about that in other reviews.I want to talk about some of the cons that have been brought up, mainly, the case being too tight for a screen and the adapter not fitting snugly. All those things are true. I made some adjustments that worked awesomely though so now those cons are obsolete.In my particular situation, I got my case first and my matte screen second. After reading the cons in the reviews, i wanted to make sure i mitigated the bubbling as much as possible, so i used my case as a guide and the screen application was super easy. Even still, the corners DID pull up on three sides. Bubbles don’t last long in my world though. I was either going to round off the pulled up edges on the screen OR shave off the plastic on the case. I did the latter with an exacto knife, just really thin shavings, and after three minutes, problem solved. Still fits snug. Still looks good. Zero pulled up edges. Smooth beautiful bubblefree screen to look at.As for the adapter, there’s no designated secure spot for it, so i needed to make one. Look good and functional, that’s my aim. After many failed attempts, what ended up working nicely for me was some sticky backed velcro (if you dont have velcro stickers handy, get some. You’ll use them. Next time youre at the 99¢ store, drop some in your bag.) i had black and white, so i cut a black grip piece to fit the length of the adapter and a narrow white fuzzy piece to put on the adapter itself, and poof. Voila. Secure. Looks good. Check and check.So moral of my review, great looking and functional case; can be even better with some easy modifications.

Makes it look like a composition book at first glance. Keeps ipad safe from scratches and able to hold it up for viewing hands free. Not sure how will it would do from dropping.

This composition notebook case is SO cool! I love the look of it and would buy it over 100 times. Just make sure your loved ones are aware, otherwise it could be easily thrown away.

I love the design of this case. Everyone thinks it’s just a plain old notebook, and then I open it, pull out my Apple Pencil, and use my favorite writing app (NEBO). Admittedly, this is not the most durable case in so far as wear and tear over time. After just about six months of somewhat regular use (stretches of time with more used than others), I’ve found them it’s beginning to crack along the creases in a manner that was concerning enough for me to order a new case. I love the case because it holds my pencil, it’s discrete, and it works suitably as a stand. That said, I wish it was more durable. It does put my device to sleep when it’s closed and overall, it was a good enough purchase to order another one. I just wish I didn’t have to pay for something twice in six months. That all said, I would absolutely encourage an interested buyer to purchase this.Update: As of 3/9/19, I’m still using the first case and its condition is still good. The cracks never worsened. Still get compliments and still love it.

it's so cute and good quality. I've had it on for a few weeks now and it's amazing! I love that the case itself is a soft rubber so the plastic doesn't crack and the case is so sturdy that even being folded many ways it still holds strongIt still does the open to wake that the apple cases do so when I open the case the screen turns on and when I close it the screen turns off - a tiny feature that's nice to have. Plus the pencil holder is a great addition since now my pencil isn't flying around my bag when I take it to school (if you have a protective sleeve on your pencil/a pencil grip it won't fit but it fits the pencil by itself great! personally I use an apple pencil dupe that I also got off of amazon, not the actual one itself, and it also fits perfectly into the slot)I'm a uni student so it's getting frequent wear and tear and even so it still looks and acts brand new!! definitely the best case i've ever gotten for my ipad and a great price alternative to some of the other cases out there

Pros:- chose this specifically because of the ability to prop it up in portrait and landscape modeCons:- Did not fit my Crayon (stylus).(The listing was/is correct for the description for the apple pencil holder - BUT I still bought it hoping I could make it fit … instead I used an elastic pen holder meant for paper notebooks - which works perfectly)- would love for this case to have an elastic to ensure it stays closed during transport (especially when my toddler gets their hands in the bag/on ipad :) )
