INMOTION E20 Electric Unicycle with Dual Tires for Easier Self-Balancing

Great value. this thing is wonderful is just getting into riding an EUC. Maybe I am a slow learner but some reviews said you can learn in 5 minutes. That may be true for some, but I am over 50 and took more than 5 minutes. Even after a few 30 minute sessions and 3 days I still didn't feel real confident but still working on it. After trying to learn this, I think I would have given up if trying to start on a EUC with only one tire. Both my boys who are 19 have also enjoyed this. It has been handy for running down the road and making short trips for taking or picking up things from neighbors. We even took it along on our zero turn mower to lend it to a neighbor that was about 1 mile away, dropped off the mower then rode the EUC back home. Makes sense to use this as a starter EUC. The price for what you get can't be beat in my opinion and allows a person to test EUC before spending a fortune for over $1k for a really nice EUC with more power. This has plenty of power if using within expected cases. I would not try steep hills and we tried in yard, but our yard is too uneven to work very well but it did work. Have used on concrete driveway and also blacktop road and works well. The two tires make you feel a little off on uneven pavement vs a one tire EUC which is less affected.

I actually got a larger model first but was having trouble getting comfortable using it so thought I'd grab this to help me practice. Wish I got this first! I love how it self- balances but you'll still need to practice getting on and off. Looks great, light enough to carry with one-hand, and safe enough so if I bail, it's tough enough. It took me about 2 hours to go from coasting on a fence for balance to riding it freely. Still not fast, but I learned and got confident enough to ride around the area. Better on sidewalks than streets since I'm still slow, but no issues. Nice ride quality. You can even connect to Bluetooth to have a built-in soundtrack for music playback. I rode for a couple of hours and didn't have a problem with the battery life. I can easily charge when I get home.

I just got this product. It’s malfunctioning. The power button is messed up, like it’s stuck. I haven’t ridden because the app keeps saying it’s not connected even though the Bluetooth connects. Just now I took it outside for the first time, turned it on and the usual happened (no app connection). Pressing the power button resulted in nothing, as If I wasn’t pushing it. After five minutes +/- of being on i tried again to turn it off. Then the nightmare! It starts beeping uncontrollably. Nothing would stop It, as the red light replaced the blue light that circles. This noise went on for 10 minutes which seemed like forever since its 1:00 AM and it was echoing throughout the hallway all the way into my apt. I immediately plugged it in and for 30 seconds that didn’t work. Then the noise stopped. I unplugged it and left it alone. As I’m typing this, about 3-4 lines ago, the horn just starts beeping WHILE IT’S OFF, Bluetooth was disconnected and the app was closed and yet It beeped 12 times then stopped. It’s fresh out the box, no crashes, drops, damage, etc. What’s wrong with it? I used to like it…now it is an embarrassing hunk of garbage that I’ve not been able to enjoy like everyone else on YouTube is enjoying theirs and speaking well of it, the fun they are having, etc. I’ve had it two weeks and to take it outside for the first (and last time) is disappointing. Wow! The horn just honked again 8 times and stopped! It’s fully charged but still crazy. It would also help if it had something to rest on while it’s in rest position instead of the bottom edge of the outer plastic. It’s very well built. I still haven’t taken it out to ride it. I’m not giving up on it. We both could have been having a bad day.

Not going to lie, I was about to return it since I was worried I might not use it as much. I’ve been riding this thing every single day. It’s so much fun riding around and people asking me about it all the time when I ride by them. The battery lasts a long time, I’m able to go to a corner store and back with it. It’s got a bit weight to it which is normal for all the tech it got. I’ve seen videos where the is a seat you can buy for it but I can not find it anywhere. Charges quickly for the life span it has on a single charge. I love it and hopefully when I become more advanced I can start to upgrade and possibly use them to commute to work.

HORRIBLE DO NOT BUY THIS.... we bought this for Christmas for my son and he rode it not even a full kilometer and it broke..... Yes the contact people were helpful until they were trying to get us to fix it and over an hour in my husband stated this was brand new and we shouldn't have to be fixing it... And they went radio silent... We are returning it and asking for a refund. Really disappointed... Don't waste your money...

From what I experienced, the E20 is the perfect entry-level wheel to introduce friends and children to the joys of the sport. My six year old daughter was having some trouble stepping on with other alternative brand models but because of the double wheel design she was able to overcome her initial fears and was even able to pendulum back and forth. It gave her the confidence to transition to the more difficult variant models. Another friend of mine bought an E20 was able to get his daughter and wife riding, which got them past the initial impression of how nerdy these things look, and were able to go on some adventures together. In terms of look and feel, it is an easy weight to handle, not too short, not too tall. It gives the impression that ease of learning was a guiding principle of Inmotion's design process. Seems to be durable. Mine's been dropped a number of times and still keeps working as expected. For myself, I'll be looking at getting the V11Y model.

This looked cool online but I ended up returning it because we could not get it to work and I got concerned about my family operating it safely. It is REALLY heavy, but thats a good sign of quality and likely stability. I got it for my 12 year old and it was just too intimidating so we'll leave it up to the other daredevils for now!
