Like new headphones!!
These replacement ear pads for my Sony headphones were very easy to install and are very comfortable. There are also options for different fabric choices, but I opted for the mesh fabric with memory foam, soooo comfortable. I was also pleased to find out how easy it was to change the earpads because I assumed there would be tools involved and taking things apart . Not the case, you just pull the old ones off and pop on the new ones, easy peasy. It's like a brand new set of headphones at a far lesser price than a new pair.

AirPods Max Comfort & Durability
I've had my MDR-V6's for longer than I dare admit (we're talking decades here), so I have a lot of experience with replacement ear pads. These days, the "leather" that's used is about one skin cell thick. They wear out really fast. When I was shopping for yet another replacement pair, I ran into these by GVOEARS. At worst, these would have the short lifetime of the others I've had. I tried the Mesh Fabric version because it sounded like it had possibilities. It certainly did. The fabric is a lot like what I have on my AirPods Max. It's comfortable and promises to be far longer lasting. My AirPods have yet to show any wear. They're very comfortable provide much better acoustic noise cancelling than any other pads I've used. Being a bit deeper, they seem to fit more securely, important to me because I mostly use these on video shoots where I'm moving around and bumping into things a lot. The fact that they are memory foam doesn't seem to impact that much. Headphones tend to sit more lightly on my ear than I do on my mattress. Possibly because they are more flexible and slightly more stretchy, installation was easier than any other ear pads. (I'm not that great at changing bicycle tires, either.) In short, these were a real find.

Much better than the fake leather ones
I went through a couple replacement ear pads that had the fake leather that kept flaking off, so I swapped to these. They've held up perfectly so far, very breathable and comfortable. They fit just right on my Sony WH-CH720N headphones.

Comfortable fabric
The original coating on the pads flakes off after a few years. Even when new, the material with its shiny surface gets sticky from the least amount of sweat. The material on these pads is more cloth-like, and feels more comfortable. The pad cushioning is slightly thicker than the original, but not enough that I notice any change in frequency response. (the farther the speaker element from your ear, the greater the chance to lose bass response) The vinyl lip on the backside of each pad fits well on the plastic groove of the headphone earpiece. Revolving the new pad by sliding that lip helps seat it all the way around. Plenty of stretch to get it in place, and then is taut enough to keep the pad tight to the housing. These look more durable than the originals. Recommended. Bought a second pair for my 2nd set of 'phones.

Came to the rescue
I was bereft when I pulled my trusty headphones out of their case to find the ear pads flaked out all over the place. Wes thrilled to find these which popped right on, Comfy as heck too.

Comfortable and well made
I got these mesh pads to replace the the standard ones that came on my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. Installation was moderately easy requiring a bit of patience to insure a proper fit. They're very comfortable to wear and appear to be of good quality. I have another identical pair of phones with different pads so I was able to compare the sound side by side and did notice a drop in volume on these since the thicker pads place the diaphragm farther from your ears. The sound isolation was better than the original ones although I think more listening is needed to elaborate further. All in all a good value if you have a loud enough player to compensate for the volume drop.

These are ok….
First off, these are comfortable and fit to the mdr7506 easily. Theres plenty of play available in the lip of the earpads to slide them on and they fit my rather large ears well, both height and depth. They also seem to have far less pressure on the head, making them feel somewhat loose at first. One is definitely deeper than the other slightly (see pic). This isnt seemingly noticeable on the ear, but there has to be a difference in pressure and sound because of it. If thats all you want to know then these are an o.k buy. A little expensive but not too crazy, there’s definitely cheaper though. Secondary, these do change the sound signature a fair bit by being the extra distance from the ear and having more air in the space. For me i found it pronounced the mud/boxiness in the regions of 200-550hz and also a mild dip around 2k mark. A touch of corrective eq and its more pleasing again, closer to how i expect them to sound. Everyone’s ear is different tho so i guess keep that in mind. Some may not notice any change or even care but for me just on listening to music i needed the eq. For tv and movies etc doesnt really matter too much at all. I value the comfort of these over my original pads as the pain of driver pressing into the ear is just too much. Hopefully the fabric stands the test of time as i havent had them that long to tell yet.
