I will not order them again! The taste was fine but the consistency and how hard it is to chew was unacceptable .

I love all kinds of fruit, including dehydrated, freeze dried, and dried. This is the type of apple I’m most fond of. There’s nothing added save some sulfur dioxide as a preservative. The apples are very, very sweet and tasty. I used to enjoy the old-fashioned dried apple rings, but these are apple halves. I took out what I wanted and resealed the rest. They can be put in a Mylar bag, canning jar, or resealed in a Food Saver-like bag. These are very reasonably priced at under $15 a pound. They’re great for putting aside for winter use, long after the orchards have closed up for the season.

Great choice for dried apples. Every slice tasted so fresh and delicious. Chewing is a breeze, because the texture is unbelievably soft and fluffy, like pillows of clouds(see video/image). Usually I can pace myself and take a piece or two at a time when I'm eating dried fruit, but not with these, I ate a whole pouch within minutes. Easily the best dried apple recommendation I've had. They dried apples were so thick I had to slice them and dehydrate them again. I was looking for thin sliced apple slices. I’m not sure what one would use these marshmallow-like dehydrated for. I was able to use them but as I said above, I sliced them thinner and put them into my dehydrator.

These aren’t your typical dried apple slices, they’re halved apples, which gives them a soft, almost marshmallow-like texture. Initially, I was unsure about the sponginess, but it quickly grew on me. The natural sweetness of the apples shines through, with a hint of tang that makes each bite satisfying. Each larger bag contains five smaller vacuum sealed packs, making it easy to portion out servings without worrying about the apples losing their freshness. It’s a convenient option snacking, whether at work or gym. The lack of added sugars is a big plus for me. These apples make for a healthy and low calorie snack, perfect for when you want something sweet but not overly indulgent. I can see these being great in oatmeal or even baked goods, but honestly, they’re just as enjoyable straight out of the bag. These dried apples offer a different experience from the typical dried fruit, and I’m definitely hooked.

This was a brand new experience for me. I dehydrate my own apples, but I'm always up for trying new things, and I've never had dried apples that weren't sliced. These apples are only halved, and they are very soft and spongy, not chewy or crunchy like most dried apples I've had (or made). It is different for sure, but I'm not hating them, and worst case scenario I'll incorporate them into other foods. I would say the closest comparison to the texture would be baked apples, but peeled, cold, and with a disappointing absence of butter, sugar, and cinnamon lol. I have had several at this point with no problems, and my dog approves of them as well. I appreciate that there are several smaller packages that are vacuum sealed so that I can take my time with them. I don't know if it's necessary, but I'm storing the opened package in the fridge. I personally do not have any reasons to recommend against this product.

I thought these were just dried apples. They have Sulfur Dioxide. I'm allergic to sulfur - I've had plenty of other dried fruit with out this and was surprised to see it on the ingredient list.
