These look almost identical to some other barbed wire crimps sold at a certain farm store for a lot more. I actually bought them for wire rope but I might try them for barbed wire too. Only thing missing is the "grit" the other ones come with on the inside.

Use these for keeping trailer pins from getting lost. Got them on steel cable attachments.

Seems too be slightly larger on outside then previous sleeves I had. Aluminum feels different too. Better or worse, not sure. Installed, they seem to hold. Time will tell if they hold or not.

For the stuff I was doing in the garden and around the house- I am more than pleased to buy these versus the single piece offerings at the box stores $$. Aluminum works fine with all my crimp tools - no issues. Had better ready to use out of bag than some purchased elsewhere-no burrs. Was a bit loose- but that enables me to use both the coated and uncoated cable I have been collecting for repurpose.

Perfect for crimping 1/8 “ stainless wire. I have a nicro press tool left over from sailing bigger boats. That tool compresses these fittings firmly on the wire. Makes a strong connection.
