Review of Aloe Kote Plus Medicated Lip Balm - .50 Oz. Jar - 2 pack (Kote Plus). This balm is generally pretty okay. I like that it has aloe. I use it on small cuts and dry skin. The texture is as expected. It has the menthol scent which I like. It's not the best value but the small jars are good for travel. I think it's a pretty okay balm.

Idk if this is a drop-shipped or fraudulent item, but it smells markedly different than my old containers. has a distinct chemical smell that I do not like, makes me wonder what is actually int there.

I had had used it before, couldn't find it anywhere, finally found it on Amazon. I get sun blisters when I don't put this on, motorcycle rider and boater.

A little goes a long way with this stuff, even with everyday use I feel like I have barely put a dent into the jar so far. I use it on my face and lips with no complaints, holds up to sweat and water perfect for being active during the summer and keeping harmful UV rays at bay while keeping you supple and looking good.

I keep pots of lip balm all around the house. My favorite is Lip Medex but I wanted to try this Aloe Kote Plus for a comparison. Both have a medicated quality however Aloe Kote Plus is a thicker, waxier consistency and the smell reminds me of Campho-Phenique from my childhood which makes sense considering the ingredients. Once on the lips, the balm lasts a good long time and feels moisturizing and hydrating. It would be especially good for protection when in cold weather or during water sports. It’s nearly twice as expensive as my other balm but I like it just as well.
