Milwaukee 2896-26 M18 Fuel 6-tool Combo Kit

A very nice starter set for entering the Milwaukee line. I am changing teams from Ryobi and the difference between the tools are well worth crying once for. The batteries also have a long life span. I was able to fully redo my utility room and electrical (meaning no power to charge batteries) off of just these two batteries, using most the tools in this kit. I was really shocked as I figured I’d most certainly need to use some of my ryobi tools and their batteries.

All tools have more than enough power. Used most, except for the grinder, on a framing job and easily finished the day with the two included batteries. Both my efficiency and speed have increased with these wonderful beauties.

They are very nice tools. If you can afford them I highly recommend them 😃.

These portable power tools are finally useful enough to almost never need corded. So far I've used everything except the circular saw on my ranch, cutting, drilling, grinding on fence posts and gates without any problems. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a set of portable power tools.

These are the nicest tool I've ever owned. I wish I would have paid a little more from the start and get these years ago. I can't believe the power these have. I love these tools and use them everyday! 1 Year UPDATE I made this purchase April 27, 2018. Today is May 4, 2019. I still love these tools- it's just the drill is not functioning properly and cuts out as if it's hot during small jobs like last night when drilling 4 pocket holes in a 45 degree garage. Drill bits will all the sudden fly out during use as the chuck is no longer working properly. That's the drill... I shipped the impact driver back to Milwaukee because the screw mode was no longer functioning properly- it would stop screwing early or work very slowly. I replaced this with a Milwaukee 2760-20 M18 Fuel Hex Hydraulic Driver, 1/4". It's been working fine and it performs much better in wood but not with metal. I'm completing a wood project currently. So I hope to get my original impact back soon as it used to work will driving screws through sheet metal. The circular saw doesn't work properly anymore and is terribly underpowered. It has difficulty getting through a 2x4. I will be sending that back for repair as well. And have already had to replace it in order to complete tasks. Finally the light that came with this kit is just about worthless. I don't ever use it. I chose to purchase a separate light. And at this point the light that came with this kit is just a waste of space for me to store. Lastly I actually us the bags that came with this kit. I store some T- Wrenches in the small bag and tool for small jobs in the larger bag. Conclusion- If I would have paid half price this would have been a deal because I had to replace the Light, Circular Saw, Impact Driver and Drill because those are items I just could NOT live without. In hind sight I would have simply purchase the nicer more powerful tools individually and spread the cost out because that's what I ended up having to do anyhow. So if you plan to use these tool everyday and have an older backup set for when the brake down- you will be okay. If you are like me and this is your first go at battery powered tools and you can't afford to be without portable tools that work- skip this kit and begin buying the more powerful tools individually. You may not thank me cause it will cost more but you will not have any problems either. I hope this helped. God Bless
