Performance Tool W50076A Universal 4 piece Heat Gun Nozzle Kit

I bought this universal nozzle kit for my Porter Cable heat gun, but out of the box, they didn't fit—slid right off, echoing other reviewers' experiences. Fixing this was simple, but I had to get a little intuitive to do so. I used basic 6.5" tongue and groove pliers to slightly ovalize 1-2 edges of each of the tips, giving them enough grip to stay on without being a hassle to attach/detach. I'm pleased with the purchase overall and would recommend it, but be ready to modify the tips for your equipment; otherwise, they'll just slip off.

So it says “universal” however I found that my generic brand “universal” amazon bought heat gun did not allow the parts to sit tight. I had to “crimp” the metal end on the duckbill attachment to make it stay seated. It works beautifully now, but just would be nice if they included little clamps to tighten the metal around the heat gun nozzle head that could withstand the heat. Other than that, the pieces work fine.

These tips did not fit either one of my heat guns. I have a Walmart special and a Milwaukee cordless heat gun, and these tips are way too small. I will have to slot the tips to make them fit over those heat gun tips.

Really thin metal (it bends right away, especially when is hot). It does not come with a clamp, so you will have to buy one to secure the attachments to your heat gun.

Not the best quality but will do for my needs.

Only half of the nozzles fit my Black and Decker heat gun. The other half are way too loose, and fall off if I try to use them. No way to tighten them, either. Fortunately, the nozzle I needed fits, but overall disappointed.
