Works great! This was given as a gift to a bird lover. The person that received the gift has shared with me high quality pictures of multiple birds that have landed through around the seasons. I would highly recommend. The visibility of the camera to take pictures of the birds is good quality. It's a good area for the birds to feed. It's easy to install and use.

purchased this feeder about a month ago, and it has performed very well so far. It accepts a 128GB SD card, which provides plenty of storage for the high‑quality video the camera records. The camera itself is clear and reliable, and the overall build quality is better than many others I looked at. One of the main reasons I chose this model is that it does not require a subscription to use the core features. A subscription is available, but it’s optional, which I appreciate. The metal roof is a major advantage, especially in the Southern heat. It holds up well in direct sun and feels much sturdier than the plastic designs I’ve used in the past. The feeder works with the Birdty app, and the app has been easy to use with no issues connecting or reviewing footage. I would strongly recommend mounting this on a pole with a proper squirrel guard. Without one, squirrels will empty the feeder quickly. After spending a good amount of time comparing different options, this one offered the best combination of features and price. I’m satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it to others looking for a dependable bird feeder with a camera.

I bought this as a gift for my aunt who loves to feed and watch the birds. Now she gets to see them up close and gets alerts to her phone, along with captures, animal breed as squirrels show up too, and you can customize the alarm to scare squirrels off. She has it on variety because they tend to get used to one sound. But, she loves it and that makes it worth the purchase. She also loves that it's wood and won't get too hot for the critters like metal does. The assembly was easy, it was light, and easy to put up.

I'm ready to retire and be a professional bird watcher with this!! I'm going to buy the hummingbird feeder/ camera too. My grandkids love watching the birds. I like getting to know the different types of birds with the app. Well made. Seems sturdy. One of my favorite purchases.

This is a good value for the money. It came with very helpful instructions that made setup easy. There were several ways to mount it. It does not originally come with a solar panel, but they included one in the box for free in the one I ordered. The app also requires you to pay for the AI bird identification. Luckily my wife is a bird guru. The picture quality is great.

Great camera, high detail. Has worked flawlessly and the birds are very entertaining. Well built and attractive. Easy to fill also. The solar panel powers it easily .

Returned. 1. AI bird detection COST EXTRA. When we bought this device that was nowhere listed anywhere. They do not even give you a free trial to try to get you to buy it. That was one of the main key selling points of why we bought it and feel LIED to by the company. 2. The birdfeeder quality was a subpar screws, holding the bird perch, would easily widen in the holes from the birds using the perch and then no longer stay in place. The metal mesh that the feed sits on easily pops out and had to replace that several times. 3. After the first two weeks, the camera battery would only hold a charge that lasted four days and then we’d have to take the camera out of the device and then recharge it and put it back for four more days and then repeat that process. 4. The quality of the video itself was actually pretty good. Just the camera wouldn’t hold a charge. The squirrel protection did nothing. They would just looks at the camera when the sounds went off. Pointless. Only annoyed the neighbors. The seed reserve wasn’t that large, so expect frequent refills if you have the quantity of birds show up like we have. The latch to refill it can be finicky to get open. It was cool to see the birds on the app, this device had more flaws than functionality especially at this price point. It was not worth the value

Was a holiday gift for my folks and they finally got it set up in Spring. They love it! Image quality of video is impressive and lighting too plus there’s sound. So fun. They’re big backyard bird watchers and this is next level for them. For what it’s worth, they’re in their 70s-80s and they set it up including the app all by themselves. I was expecting an IT troubleshooting phonecall from them but instead all I got was a video of some birds! Very delighted.
