The Higround Trailhead Black Ice is my 4th gaming keyboard (previously using the Keychron 81 Pro) and my 1st Keyboard from Higround! From right out the box I know this keyboard will be a game-changer in both my gaming and work setup!I’m a travel Filmmaker/VFX Compositor so I edit a lot on the go, and most of the time editing on a laptop built-in keyboard is quite frustrating. I really like how the Trailhead is small, which makes it so easy to take it with me everywhere I go. Yes it’s very compact but still has everything I need! A must for creators/gamers who travels non-stop!About the design: I really love it. The build quality is solid! It’s very sleek and premium, making it aesthetically fits into my PC setup without taking too much space. I can tell Higround really puts a lot of thoughts into creating this masterpiece. When I was messing around the different RGB mode (specifically customizing my own RGB style), I noticed the colors are very vibrant and bright which was very pleasing to the eye. It provides variety of colors to choose from, and when mixed together, the colors just transition to another very nicely. I also really enjoy the hot-swappable feature. Thats a huge plus for me (who loves to change themes) and especially for other people who love to customize their keyboards overtime. I also love that it’s pre-lubed! It feels godly whenever I typed, it gives that satisfying creamy and thocky sound that’s not too loud, making it more fun to type. It also makes it easier to use in a quiet environment like the library, cafe, or office without distracting any people around. For $99? Say less, take my money! It’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for a high-performance, compact, aesthetically pleasing customizable keyboard!

Coming from someone who usually only buys cheaper keyboards, I recently upgraded to the Higround mechanical keyboard. This is the aesthetic and functional tool I didn’t know I needed!It perfectly pairs with my white setup with beautiful yet minimalistic LED lights. I love the text on the edge of the keys, really cleans up the visuals of my space. The keys are the right balance of satisfying clicks and quiet sound.I also really enjoy the layout, super user friendly, and also the ability to personalize my keyboard.In terms of durability, I would trust this keyboard from Higround to last several years. Unlike cheaper alternatives, this is made extremely well and won’t break under use.Overall, I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking to improve their computer setup, both functionally and aesthetically.

Had this a few months and the keys don’t work properly. It has a delay or just doesn’t work at all. Don’t recommend. Now I’m out of the return window and have to find a new keyboard to buy.

The media could not be loaded. The size might be controversial but I love how small and minimal it is! The keyboard takes up very little space on my desk and allows my mouse to have a ton of space.The keyboard itself is great and the white color matches my NZXT H1 case perfectly.The RGB is great and really pops with the white keyboard. My favorite lighting mode is lightbike as you can see in my video. There are so many options to choose from for RGB lighting, there is something for everyone.The switches themselves sound great and feel even better. See my video for that nice sound. The actuation is crisp and registers really early in the travel.Overall this keyboard is really great, also there are multimedia keys with fn + j or k or L for volume which is a nice touch.

I purchased the Higround 65% because I wanted to save some space from my current full keyboard (G915). Really nice design, the fit and finish are that of a premium level. If you like a silent laptop sounding keyboard, then this is not what you are looking for. The "thocky" sound and feel is perfect for those mechanical keyboard lovers. The travel felt longer, but that probably is just coming from my previous keyboard plus the dual foam dampening. All around, recommend for anyone looking for a smaller form keyboard. The build quality seems really durable, I may just make it dual purposed, take it from home to office and back.

there are two things I can say need to be improved on in the short time I have had itFirst is the lettering on the keys I would like if the contrast between the letter and the key was more it is difficult to see the lettering especially in darker lightingSecondly the foam they do have in the keyboard needs to be of a greater thickness while it is in there it doesn't do anything as it sits about an eight of an inch under the board if the foam was actually touching it would make for a much better sound qualityOverall I am happy with this board and only minor things I feel would take this to the next level

My first time using it 65% keyboard. Took some time to get used to it, but I love the aethetics (it's white) and gives my desk a refined look. It's also nice to know that I can swap out switches if I ever get bored of them. I found it difficult for some productivity work without the numpad, but I LOVE it for gaming! It allows me to keep my hands closer together for gaming which is amazing, didn't even realize how much it helped until I started consistently scoring higher on aim trainers and in-game (apex if you have to know). Knew what I was in for with the small size, and it's exactly what I wanted.
