The Neewer softbox is a professional quality light modifier with the standard Bowens mount. In all, you get the softbox plus 2 white diffusers, a black honeycomb grid, and a storage bag.It works best if you extend the 12 ribs of the umbrella before placing the Bowens mount. It’s really easy to open the umbrella, just place the Bowens mount on the ground then push out all the ribs until they snap in place. Then mount the Bowens to your light.All the diffusers and grids are easy to assemble with Velcro attachments which have a nice super strong stickiness. The inner diffuser has 6 matching Velcro points halfway up the ribs. The larger diffuser has Velcro all the way around and attaches to the outer edge of the umbrella. Same for the black grid that has Velcro all the way around.To put this away, take the diffusers and grid off the umbrella. Dismount the umbrella from the Bowens. Then flip the umbrella with the Bowens UP and slide each of the levers to release the ribs. I had to use a nearby wrench that had a rubberized handle to push the levers, some of which were tight. I used the rubber handle as a bar that I pushed on the levers and it worked like a charm. Once the ribs are all released and loose, the umbrella can then be folded back up.The light diffusion is excellent and the quality of the ribs is very professional and tightly stretched. The grid does the job of keeping the light from spilling too wide.The Neewer softbox is a professional looking light modifier that is constructed of quality materials and is easy to set up. Great value for the price.

The media could not be loaded. This would of been a great bowens mounted parabolic softbox. The design flaw is that it is hard to close as the pins are tight and locks in securely so if you had a wrench to help, it would be easier. It can hurt your fingers when closing since it takes more pressure to do so. The dodecagon looks very round and less of a octagonal shape. Great as it is very compact and tight. Small enough for small lights to use on shoots. The problem is closing it and putting it away. The grids are good.

This flash diffuser works well with my AD200 flashes using the included Bowens mount adapters. I love how easy it is to set up by simply pulling each rib and popping them into place. The individual tabs on the back of the diffuser allow you to release each rib to collapse it again. It only takes a few seconds to expand or collapse the diffuser, and I have been very happy using it at various weddings and events. I definitely recommend this model, especially for how little room it takes up and how well it collapses!

I have a couple of small softboxes and one huge softbox and I was looking for something a little in between that would fit my 200W lamp. I came across this Neewer 25.6"/65cm softbox and decided to order it as I had always been happy with previous Neewer purchases.For anyone who has used a softbox before this one will immediately be familiar. It is nicely made, and all the separate components have a professional feel to them. It comes with a nylon drawstring carrying bag which is adequate for storage.Putting it all together is very straightforward. Simply lock the arms into place, attach the smaller inner diffuser, attach the larger outer diffuser, and finally attach the honeycomb itself. Closing it, like putting it together is fairly straightforward.It uses a standard Bowens mount so it will fit pretty much any standard lamp or strobe and the "umbrella" can be rotated if required.In use, this is a nicely put together softbox and it works well. If you're looking for a midsized softbox yourself I definitely recommend this offering from Neewer.

This NEEWER 25.6" Parabolic Softbox is a nice modifier for my Godox Bowen's mount lights. Attaches easily and securely to my S2 speedlite bracket.The softbox itself was easy to set up once I got the hang of it. Very quick and very little force needed. Taking it down was more challenging but seems to be getting easier as I do it more often. Not as quick as set up but still pretty fast.I had to redo attaching the top diffuser layer in order to make room for the grid. I tried attaching it too high and needed to lower it a bit. Otherwise the diffusers and grid are easy to attach.The whole feels sturdy enough yet very lightweight. I'm sure it won't hold up as well as softboxes that go for a few times what this one does but it feels nice enough to last with the way I will use it. Which isn't as frequently as some might. The quality/cost ratio is very good in my opinion, definitely a good value.The light is nice with or without the grid, depending on what I need. The lightness means it's easy to take on location. I wouldn't use it on a very windy day but then again, I probably wouldn't be doing a portrait session if it were windy enough to worry about it.

This is an exceptional little unit. Easy to set up, lightweight and easy to pack around. At the right size to be easily and well applied to just about any Portrait situation. Really happy with it. I’d certainly recommend it, especially if you can get it when they’re having a deal.

I was surprised at how good the grid modifier is at stopping the light from spilling.
