DO NOT PURCHASE! Should have been obvious by the price but this is NOT mulberry silk. I sleep on silk pillowcases for my hair and decided to try and silk sleep mask as well. After trying the mask, I woke up with red, puffy skin around my eyes that calmed during the day and was inflamed again every morning after using this mask. I stopped using it and the inflammation stopped and the redness is going down. I washed the mask hoping it would help, it did not. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MASK

So I bought this mask over a year ago. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long but here we are. I can say honestly that this has become a part of my nightly routine. I genuinely can’t sleep without it. I got the pink color and what they say about light blocking is true. It’s not road trip proof. But it blocks out the ambient light from my room just fine. (For context we have a newborn so there’s always some kind of light so we don’t trip in the dark)Against the skin it is so cool, and soft. I’m a warm sleeper so that cooling sensation gives me a lot of relief when I’m trying to fall asleep. And so soft. I want to just touch it all day. The band gives the gentlest bit of pressure on my eyes. Idk, for me it’s comforting. When it’s feeling a bit thin or stretched out I hand wash it in the sink and it bounces right back. So far I’ve only got the tiniest bit of fraying on the back of the band.Skincare: they say that sleeping with silk is better for your skin, and I can honestly say there’s a noticeable difference between my skin quality in the areas the mask sits vs everywhere else on my face. I struggle with dry skin (like peeling and flaking off. I work in skincare and nothing else I’ve tried has made a difference) but around my eyes and forehead feels consistently soft and supple. I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it for myself.(All of this coming from not using any kind of eye mask in the past. So I don’t have much perspective to compare it to, but I’m very happy with this one.)

I confess I mainly got this sleeping mask because it appeared to be cute and soft. The mask is not as stiff as I would have imagined (from the image), but it is soft and of reasonable quality. It does not have any weird smell (always a concern of mine), so I didn't wash it prior to use. I'm a bit sad that I had been watching the price and purchased it for $12.50 when it's currently $7.The mask is fairly nice and airy and super flexible/soft. It sufficiently covers light from reaching my eyes and would be effective to use at night time. However, I would not recommend this mask in pink if you are hoping to use it during the middle of the day, as it is not dark or dense enough to prevent light from penetrating through. Overall, it does what I expected it to do. (5/5)

Super soft and smooth on my face! Other facemasks are so heavy that they make my face sweat. There's just a couple things that you might want to consider.I'm not super sensitive to light, but I use this when my husband watches TV late at night. Light DOES come through by your nose. It's also not completely blackout due to the thinner, lighter colored fabric. This really doesn't bother me, as it definitely does get rid of most light, but it might bother some people.Also, it's a little large, which I personally prefer so that I don't get a headache, but it does slip off my face sometimes after I fall asleep. Again, this doesn't really bother me because I don't realize it til I wake up.

I wear a night mask every night, it's the only way i can sleep.I bought this to replace my current one that's getting worn out.It's way too small, and squished my brain and gave me headaches. The fabric is soft, but doesn't block much light (what's the point if it doesn't block light? )I returned this, it was a waste.

I really, really love this eye mask! I bought two and I’ll probably add one on here and there when I need to increase my shopping cart total to qualify for free shipping. The fabric is silky and soft. The color is the most beautiful dusty pink with only the slightest hue of periwinkle. I flip for this shade of pink! It matches my vintage, shabby chic color palette which is extra nice. The band is also very, very comfortable; never too tight and thankfully designed without Velcro like the other Earth Therapeutics mask I have. I have also tried other eye masks even one I paid $30 for and the band was so tight it gave me a headache; mind you I have a small head to begin with. This eye mask is quite thoughtfully well designed. It keeps the light out very well even though the color is pink. Did you know that even the dim light beaming from a digital clock at night can negatively effect melatonin levels causing them to lower? Sleeping in pitch dark is very important for restful, deep sleep. I learnt this from reading Susun S. Weed’s book. Further, I recommend taking your eye mask out of the plastic packaging right away to let it air out the new factory smell I found unpleasant when worn. Simply let the mask off gas near a window if you can for a day or two and this odor will vanish. I would purchase at least two masks because you’ll have to delicately wash one after a few weeks when it begins to take on an unpleasant odor. It’s ideal to have a back up. Since I love the color so much I’m going to plan on buying a few more.I recommend ordering a couple silk pillowcases from Brooklinen. They have a pink case to match this mask. Silk pillowcases bestow wonderful benefits to our skin and hair. If I sleep on cotton my mane most certainly dries out however not on silk!

I have no idea why this product smells so terrible, but when I opened the packaage it reeked of chemicals that I can only explain as dead fish. It's awful. I have let it sit out in fresh air for a week, and because it's soft and the color is perfect, but I cannot take the stench to wear it. I decided to wash it and it still smells after soaking in Tide and then another wash in dawn dish liquid. Its unfortunate cuz it is cute.

So excited to received it but then I was disappointed. I don't think this is a real silk. More on a polyester fabric. I have compared some of my real silk eye masks this one is not even close.

It’s comfortable but it hardly blocks sunlight in the morning! If you are expecting a blush pink colour that is not what you’ll get, it’s a pretty bright flamingo pink !

I've kept searching for a very light eye mask, and thought maybe this would be it. But so far it's managed to heat up my eyes, the thing elastic ends up putting pressure on the middle of the mask, which translates to pressure directly against your eyeballs. The elastic is annoyingly right above the ear, so gets uncomfortable. I dunno, it's really not working for me so far.

It's a very nice soft, silk mask - and a good size. The colour, however, is a bright cotton candy pink, not at all like the lovely colour advertised. I washed it with a bit of turmeric in the water to make it less garish (do not use hot water dyes on this!).

there are better masks available. this one is not adjustable. i gave it to my 7 year old granddaughter...gotta watch out for stuff made in china..i got caught on this one!
