A fabulous compilation of tracks with passion and genius from the 50s 60s and 70s. If you want to know where punk originated from then listen and learn - it's the antithisis of X Factor fodder. They may not have burnt brightly for long (mostly one hit wonders) but all have a real spark. Two of the tracks are from the Joe Meek stable - which is also worth checking out.

A very good album if I had this on vinyl I would have worn it out by now
