Defective??
I got this because I love Snoopy. I am also from the era where the Walkman was first introduced. I was trying to break away from the internet and I used this a handful of times with my nature sounds to help me sleep. Well one night I was listening and a horrific static noise took over! This player was well protected so I thought it was the headphones that I was using but nope... it was Snoopy! I have NEVER experienced this in all my years using cassette players. So much for a peaceful experience. Must have been defective but Retrospekt you have to do better for $100 smackers! Returned! I bought a cheap player and have not heard that sound since!
