ASA Instrument Pilot Kneeboard (IFR) - ASA-KB-2

We all need a knee board, might as-well have some information on it. This product works great. Only thing I’ll complain about is the strap size. Its a little tight when around my thigh but I have large thighs. Guess you’ll just have to try it.

This is my first kneeboard and I have no complaints. It simply does the job. It is a lightweight, flat surface to write on with a clip to keep papers and charts in place. The elastic band keeps the kneeboard where it needs to be and is easy to strap on and off. It isn't uncomfortable or distracting in flight. The elastic band also holds a slim pen or pencil. I was looking for a cheap and simple kneeboard to help keep me a bit more organized in flight, and I've found what I was looking for.

I use it to hold my phone when in my car. Phone is in reach. Easy to navigate the key pad. I made a soft closed cell phone holder that fits under the clip. Works awesome.

The board was smaller than I expected it to be but useful. The clip is durable and strong enough to hold my sectional folded. My only issue is the location of the straps. Putting them on the side minimized area of usefulness. Other than that, good product. Sturdy.

Flight Plan Equipment Qualifiers, IFR Alternate, IFR Clearance, Required Reports, Position Report format, 5 T’s Over Fix, VOR Checks, Lost COMM, MAG Compass Error, Holding Pattern. Slightly larger then VFR version. Straps slots are 1 1/2” wide and can accommodate other 3rd party straps.

I was really disappointed with their package. Because it was open. After I check product , those all are fine . Knee pad is good. Happy to use.

This a base version of available knee boards that works just fine. All of these knee boards need to be sold with replacement, elastic straps, because, the elastic eventually fails. I've got a couple of other knee boards waiting for me waste my valuable time and find something to replace the failed elastic strap. The knee board I had in the USAF had heavy duty, adjustable cloth straps that would take my right thigh with them if forceably removed.

I am not a pilot. I use this for astronomy. I strap it to my leg when I am sitting at my telescope so I have a place to write notes or sketch on a pad as I am observing. It works as expected.

Ich brauche das zwar nur für Flugsimulation zu Hause, habe mich aber gefreut, das es eben ALLES bei/über amazon gib. Das Produkt hat meine hohen Erwartungen erfüllt.
