These work great!

I’ve used this for 2 years now and very impressed on its effectiveness. Does not attract honey bees.

These work so well in Denver, Colorado that we wiped out the Yellow Jacket population for two years. Yikes! The grasshopper population exploded over those two years. Ooops. Now I use the traps sparingly and allow one nest in the back yard and one in the front so long at the wasps don't bother us I allow them to do their thing. Our grasshopper population has been cut in half.

This was a great investment for all the nasty flying, biting, stinging yellow jackets, wasps and hornets!! It attracted so many in the bottom chamber!! We thought we had the whole colony in there! The top portion? Not so much but a few. So, attract away! We hope to lure the queens in the spring! We don’t think we got one this time in the Fall, but...on another note...it’s a little unnerving changing the bottom attractant and emptying the chamber because we were afraid some might still be alive and we waited until we saw no bees flying around it and then waited a week to be sure they were dead. You unscrew the bottom portion, then....empty the dead bees “someplace” safe...in the trash bin! Then attach a new pad. This should be easier. It would be nice if the attractant bottom section would be a separate unit just Incase you still have a live one in there! Otherwise...an EXCELLENT bee trap!!!

One of the packages was dry. Scent does not last more than a week.

At first this kind of worked. I noticed that I’d catch a yellow jacket queen only to see it eventually gone. They escaped easily. So then I applied double sided tape on the mesh part. Lo and behold, no more escaping. I’ve only had this out for a couple of days and I’ve already caught a couple. It’s early in the season so I want to get ahead of a nest infestation. I also recommend setting it up early in the morning. I’ve made the mistake of doing so on a warm afternoon and was dive bombed by yellowjackets. I suppose this also proves that the attractants do indeed work.

We followed directions exactly and put the first one out in mid-May. It didn’t catch anything but no see-ums. So we thought we may have put it out too early for bees. Put out the second batch four days ago where we see active bees. Again it only attracted the no see-ums. No bees in the top or bottom sections. This product DOES NOT WORK
