I liked the aroma of this coffee which I could smell before even taking it out of the box. I did see some tiny openings in the bag that had allowed that aroma to escape. Given this, I immediately moved the ground coffee to a vacuum sealed container to keep it fresh. The grind is a consistent medium drip grind and worked well with my drip grinder and would also be great for a pour over. Aroma is pleasant with a sense of sweetness and finished with a bit of acidic notes for me. I was ready for a cup from the start and made a quick drip cup with my coffee maker. Color is a nice caramel shade, aroma is of a medium boldness, and the flavor is reminiscent of coffee you would get in a diner - mid-boldness with a smooth start and finish, very easy drinking. This is a good option if you prefer ground coffee and enjoy a medium bold flavor in your cuppa.

Now this is good coffee. Great coffee no, but good coffee yes. It actually reminds me of Folgers original as far as taste and flavors go. It's bitter and bold with just a hint of sweetness but mostly the bitterness shines through. The grains are so fine, so you have to watch that you don't overfill the coffee filter or you will have grains all through your pot...trust me on this a little goes a long way.
