I took a chance on this being as nice as it looked in the product photos and description. It did exceeded my expectations. I ordered the 20 pound bag unsure if the 10 pound bag was going to be enough. It was plenty and I have extra leftover. Our fire table measures approximately 12 inches wide by 28 inches long and is approximately 2 inches deep. I was able to cover the entire propane burner and the fire still worked incredibly well. I went thin over top of the burner to allow the gas to escape, but also went very thin near the igniter so that the spark would ignite the gas in a non-eventful sort of way. Lol. I'd like the Caribbean like blue color because it reminds me of vacation and the sparkle coming off of these mirrored pieces of glass add a nice ambience. I thought it was a little expensive but now that I purchased it and have seen the product I am quite content with the price I have paid for it. I highly recommend this product! The only thing I would say would be to wear gloves when you are spreading out the glass so you do not get cut. If you decide to purchase, enjoy!

Great product, it's like I got a new fire pit! I had the lava rocks and logs before hand and it was time for a change. Totally changed the look for the better. Great simple DIY upgrade.

I needed some fire glass for a fire table, and I did some research beforehand, because I'd read so many things about glass coming in tiny pieces, melting and turning black, etc. This glass had good reviews and said it wouldn't melt, so even though it was twice as expensive as some, I decided to purchase it.First off, the glass is, in fact, larger pieces, so that's good. There were a few smaller pieces as well as a very few odd looking rectangular un-mirrored pieces, but overall, it was a nice batch of fire glass. The mirrors on the backside are awesome! It's what creates the beautiful reflection and makes it really sparkle.Per other reviewers recommendations, I did put all of the glass in a wire mesh strainer to rinse with vinegar and water and then put on a cookie sheet with a towel to dry overnight before putting in my fire table. This really made the glass shine. I definitely recommend it!I've not used this much (only used about one hour total), but so far, the glass is not melting or turning black. It's holding up nicely and still looks brand new.Don't hesitate to spend more and get a product that will perform better! This is it! :)
