Been using this sharpener for almost a year and absolutely think it is a great timesaver and works. I for years have used stones and many other sharpeners but this one is by far the easiest and best. Order extra 800 and 1000 grit belts as me sharpening lots of kitchen knives go through those the most.

I really love this sharpener! I was able to finish an entire kitchen knife set in less than an hour. Anything by Worksharp is well built and does a great job. Its easy to set up and its not much of a learning curve so you can get going pretty fast. I just wish it came with a carry case, otherwise its a wonderful tool!

This is pretty handy for sharpening knives & tools! Everything works great there's only one thing that bothers me! So I was always taught that the flatter the apex(edge of the blade) the sharper the knife will be & the longer it will stay sharp but with no support behind the belt they put a rounded edge on the blade which is printed on the box(they actually say it's a good thing?) I don't believe that's true! It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me! So maybe don't use it to sharpen your higher quality/more expensive knives!?

Awesome sharpener. It put a polished edge on all my knives. The belts seem to get dirty quickly but they are still sharpening after I sharpened 10 knives and two pairs of scissors. I’m an amateur and couldn’t get the hang of a whetstone but with his I don’t think I need to learn. It’s definitely pricey but I think the build quality and performance makes it worth it.

I rarely write Amazon reviews, but this is an exceptional case. This tool is AMAZING! I've never seen my knifes THIS sharp! And I've owned a few different ones, we are talking about 40 years of kitchen experience, including own restaurant. The creators made a science of knife sharpening! My respect and gratitude go to them! My hat off to you, gentlemen! If you read this. Update. After a month of using my SUPER SHARP knifes I have to revise my decades old safety techniques. My fingers have bled a few times, my wash sponges are cut in shreds, my kitchen towels feature cut holes. I stopped whipping my knifes with paper towel - the smallest angle and they cut right through the towel and my finger! Washing a knife with a sponge destroys the sponge. Wiping a washed knife with a towel at a SLIGHTEST angle cuts a hole in the towel. Basic knife techniques like chopping garlic or cucumber at 100/mi an hour need some SERIOUS revision. The speed and ease with proper technique are amazing, without - risk end up without a finger or two. The knifes go through a wilted tomato like a warm butter. It's a whole new class of instruments in my kitchen I've never had before! The knifes themselves are nothing special, bought right here on Amazon (Broadark), good knifes, great design, perfect balance, but they'd never shine this way and always stay in my old category of kitchen tools if not for this amazing sharpener!
