Perfect pocket sized binoculars. Great quality for the price.

First pair (cannot do comparison), so in my opinion, these binos are very good, lightweight and easy enough to set up. Small enough to grip comfortably for long periods. You can use them day and night and offers clear enough vision (you can wear glasses to view as well) and because they are 8X magnifications, the shaking effect on viewing is lesser than 10 x magnifications. Not perfect but would suit beginners at a bargain price.

Small but very mighty! Superb purchase. Got in time before going on a four day break. These binoculars are very compact. Took up next to no space in my bag. Very easy to use. Good length of cord on the strap. Lightweight yet robust construction. Used them for some very amateurish bird watching, landscape viewing etc. the magnification is excellent, very clear resolution. Comes with a carry pouch which has a belt loop. Very pleased with this item. A great product for a very very reasonable price. Highly recommend this item. Very pleased.

The overall appearance and quality feel of the item is good with a rubber type construction. These are not super powerful binoculars but will suffice in most situations. Only had the binoculars 10 mins and the neck strap attachment popped out. It looked like a threaded piece so I thought no problem I’ll screw it back in but it would not grip and just popped out again. So after 10 mins they are on their way back and I’ll reorder a different pair.

I have found from past experience that with any of these small/pocket binoculars or monoculars that anything higher than an 8x magnification results in a poor dull image, so at 8x21 these are very good. For anybody who wants small, lightweight and low-cost for occasional use these are fine.

These were a gift for a 4 year old to replace cheap plastic ones included in an explorer kit he got as a toddler. The first pair I got were the yellow ones and although the image quality was good the yellow colouring started coming off onto his hands so they were returned and the black pair ordered as replacement. These are great for a starter pair - slight bit of yellow fringing on high contrast edges but otherwise very clear. The 8x magnification was chosen on purpose as it gives a wider angle of view and therefore it is easier for a child to find the subject. Strangely the black ones also allowed for much nearer subjects to be focussed on - down to a couple of metres. Not sure if there is a quality control issue but the black pair were a lot better than the yellow ones that had a minimum focus of about 5m. Small size and light weight also ideal for a child. They also seem robust and are supposed to be waterproof although I didn't test this yet. They would also be fine for an adult that wants a pair for occasional use that slip into a pocket without noticeable lugging.

Very pleased, I have the larger USCAMEL binocs, but wanted something to carry in my pocket. I must admit for the price, they're pretty good.

This binocular is very compact. With the tubes folded in, I can cover the whole thing with my hand (which is just medium-size). It can easily be carried in a shirt pocket. It is fairly light in weight, but does not feel flimsy. It has a little density due to the metal and glass in the construction. This small heft helps in holding it steady in use. The image is very bright, sharp, and clear. The field of view is quite good, only a little less wide than full-size binoculars of the same magnification. There is a little area of blurriness just around the very outer edges of the image, but this is not unusual and it doesn't interfere with their use. As for night vision - it is as bright as any other compact binocular I have used. Full-size binoculars, like 7x35s, have lenses much larger than the human eye's, so they gather in more light. This provides the "see in the dark" function of full-size binoculars, which show detail in areas too dark to see into with the unaided eye. Given their much smaller lenses, compact binoculars don't have that effect. With this one, like most, you can't see into dark areas any better than with your eyes alone. Overall I find this binocular to provide excellent image quality in a very comfortable size. I recommend it.
