Bought this product to use in doing some light painting with my camera and my lensball. For this purpose, it worked out well. You can look at the photos that I have attached to the review. I will in the near future (when it gets a little warmer outside) try to use it for outdoor light painting to see how well it works there also. Will need to get my tethers out for that to see how well I can do there. PRO: Very bright, a great deal of light settings, easy to handle for the pictures, inexpensive compared to pro photography choices. CON: Difficult to open battery compartment, directions on how to use it are a little hard to understand Could I recommend it for its intended purpose of Rave Poi - No I can not since I did not use it that way. However, for what I did use it for, it worked out great and I am looking forward to trying it outside for light painting.

Great poi when they actually work. Out of the three that I’ve ordered; All three are broken in some way. The first: half of the lights were broken upon receiving it. The second; it took 10 minutes of swinging my brand new poi for the same to happen. Half the stick went out, and after half the programming left the function of the poi. The third also broke almost immediately😁🥲🥲 I thought the first two might be a fluke. Nah… three is the charm🥲

Due to a shipping issue on my order, I originally rated my order with one star. Now however, I have to change my rating to 5 stars, the issue has been resolved by Amazon and I have received my complete order. The product itself definitely gets 5 stars from me, it is so much fun to use! The lights are very bright and colorful which surprised me since it only uses 1 AAA battery but I am very impressed. I enjoying playing with the sticks and seeing the colors and patterns changed, can't wait to use this at the event I purchased them for!

Broken after light use of less than 2 hours, the case falls apart in the middle. Gorilla glue can solve this, but really; that is quite fragile. The light and setup and stuff is great by the way, but 2 hours? Come on!

I am learning to use Poi lights and this looked great, and it is. BUT I CAUTION Please Read The Caption Closely, I thought this came as a pair, but it ONLY A SINGLE LIGHT. It does state that in the description but is easy to over look. The Light is very bright and has a wonderful array and combination of settings, and looks fantastic. It should look even better when I have two. LOL

Excellent for the price. Many patterns. Good weight. Only needs one AAA battery each. Get the casings too, they help diffuse the light and help protect them from impact. Good weight for spinning. LEDs on each end means a total of four patterns displayed at once if you want. I am quite satisfied with the purchase. Buy these instead of more expensive poi, unless you can afford pixel or smart poi.

These helix lights are so much fun . I have had no issues using them.

I should know better than to buy cheap flow toys off Amazon. If you want something good go to a professional flowtoy shop online. They broke the first time I used them. The last item I bought from this company did the same. Shame on me for thinking maybe I need to just buy a better model.

One stopped working after a few spins. My flow toys lasted for 10 years compared to these. Very disappointed.
