Works as well as advertised
Good quality. Easy to put together. You have to be able to use your feet to stand. A bit hard to manage a heavy person. Wheel size make it difficult to go over thresholds. Definitely perfect for getting person in and out of chairs ad long as they have strength to pull up. Could not get through day with out this.

Very sturdy, confident using, delivered as promised
Needed product by certain date before patient discharge from rehab hospital. Box a little smaller than expected but in good shape, no missing parts. Delivery window till 10pm, came at noon. Patient couldn't stand and most important, pivot to use bedside commode. However, she can pull herself up to stand with pivot seat pads, comfortable and easy to quickly move, to sit. Helped to get her incontinence briefs on, clean up and move her around the room. While seated, pulls up briefs past knees, pull up all the way once standing. The legs are fixed but that's all that was available in time frame I needed. I have medium pile carpet, a little difficult turning and pushing with her on, 215 weight but it can be done successfully. I think it would be super easy on tile floor. The knee pads, unlike Sara Stedy used in in rehab hospital, were a little uncomfortable for me, (osteoarthritis) but not for her. You must have enough space and width to get under target destination, measure. Clearance and width under her twin bed on 6" risers and bedside more than adequate. She also has a lift chair with minimal clearance from bottom to floor, I lifted enough to slide sit to stand underneath with her on it, problem adverted. Wheelchair not an option, even with gate belt, if they can't hoist themselves up to stand and pivot. I commend your devotion to person you're caring for, get what you need for home, you'll be glad you did, it's time to play guts football.

Good product!
I bought this for when my dad moved in with us. It great! I was able to safely move him from his bed to the bathroom and to his recliner. It's easy to use. The only challenge we had was it doesn't roll as easily on carpet. Also the panels for sitting are a little stiff to rotate up and down. But overall a good product.

BUYER BEWARE - NOT AN AMAZON PRIME ITEM
Might be ok for a small person, but definitely not for a large man, Ordered this for hubby's use (he's 270 lbs and 6'2") for 4 days, if we had his Arlo Sara Stedy lift shipped to FL. Thought we could get by with cheaper device ($660 vs $3,300 for Sara). The lift comes in pieces in a box 1' x 2' x 3' and weighs over 80 lbs. Very poor directions for assembly. After I paid $100 to have it put together, we learned it would not work for my husband. Unfortunately, although description states it can accommodate up to 400 lbs weight, and shows pictures of device going around wheelchair, it does not fit around a bariatric wheel chair, nor hubby's lift chair. Also he could not stand in it because the hip area is too narrow (15" vs Sara Stedy 18.5"). Obviously, we wanted to return it, then learned THIS IS NOT AN AMAZON PRIME ITEM. Which means we would have to disassemble the device, return it in original packaging and PAY FOR shipping back to Temecula, CA. Cost for our handman to disassemble and repack will be another $100. Then I need to pay him to load it into his van and take to UPS for shipment to CA (another $30). UPS estimated that cost to ship device back to CA would be approximately $230 IF THE SHIPPING CONTAINER IS IN GOOD CONDITION, which it is not because it was slightly damaged when item arrived. Once the company in CA (JayXXKJ) receives the item and approves its return condition, they will issue my $660 refund. Thus I will be out of pocket more than $460 to return an item that hubby could not stand in even once. Rather than go through the hassle, we'll try donating to Goodwill. You get what you pay for.

Indispensable
If you need support to stand, this device is great. We use it to transfer from bed to toilet or wheelchair to couch, etc. The wheels just need to slide under or around what you are transferring to. My husband also uses it to practice standing and can rest on the seat in between. It is narrow enough to go through all our narrower doorways, but is adjustable to go around the toilet or wheelchair.
