Happy 92nd Birthday Grandpa! (or a selfie gift for a parent's birth year!) If looking for the one-of-a-kind 92nd birth year coin gift, this is it; you can clip your own $100 bill to this handsome art-deco Peace dollar minted in 1926 telling him, "Happy 92nd," and we'll do this again when you're 100. The $100 pictured with the clip is not included. This is a genuine .900 fine silver dollar minted in 1926. Only six million of these coins were ever minted, and you know than most of them have been melted or hoarded. It has been hand cut out by master coin cutter Colin at The Cut Coin Store and exclusively offered here. Each of the letters, "LIBERTY," and "IN GOD WE TRUST" has been cut out as has the year "1926." How is it made?First several small holes are drill through the coin, then an even smaller blade is inserted into these holes, one at a time. The master coin cutter, a.k.a. Mr. Cut Coin, guides this blade around the Lady Liberty and letters leading to the handsome art-deco inspired coin, cut into jewelry, as you see. The design is secure using a technique sometimes referred to a "pyramid cut." The coin elements remaining are connected via little bridges of the coin's metal, cut at an angle leading to the illusion with light and contrast that the design could be floating. Yet, in actuality, each element is secure and attached to one another, and the rim. Mr. Cut Coin will cut the coin like the coin shown. The clip is an Anson-style with an inner steel flex plate that adjust to the number of bills you clip, from about three to a maximum of fifteen. It is nickel/rhodium plated and does not contain silver. Contact Cut Coin Jewelry seller should you want a 1926-date coin from grandma. Slightly more expensive, the coin can be mounted in a sterling bezel for use as a pendant on grandma's favorite chain.
