Texture is good. Comfortable fabric out side is not rough pure cotton. I want to mention it's durability it's long lasting. Satisfied. My son is 12 years old I ordered 13 to 14 tear age range it's fine for him.

Do not purchase as it is of poor quality. I used two Shorts for my son and both were pathetic. Stiches came out and elastic also broke after one wash. I am writing this review after one month of use.
