Q: Is this brown like one of the reviews show ?

No, mine were very colourful as I used them to make Indian barfi (sweet). I have some left and they still haven’t lost their colour.

Q: Is the product Halal or suitable for vegetarians?

I seriously don't care about Halal or not. In fact, being this a vegetarian item, I don't even know what is so Halal about it. It is not something of a problem for me at all in general. In fact, I avoid using Halal personally due to its religious side of things because I discourage discriminating against food based on religion.
