works good and is easy to roll up

Bought this fodder for short fiber drops going from pull points to ped. First look the welds look like a 9 year old welded them! The rod that the entire spool spins on is tiny so don’t know how that will hold up since it’s metal on metal. Fiberglass rod seems to be ok quality and does have meters marked on not etched so probably won’t last long. There is also no brake of any sort on the rodder so it just free spools which kinda sucks. I will see how long it last and reupdate this review. Edit.. The rodder completely fell apart after about a month and a half the legs broke off so if you want to use it you have to have someone hold it. This is JUNK!!

Worked really well, but the distance numbers are hard to read when using.

This is a very stiff and slick fish tape, and the holder is usable. It does pop out if not attended to carefully, even if the eyelet is used. The markings aren’t very dark and clear, and some are only partial. It’s marked starting at 301 meters about a meter away from the tip, going to 500 meters. The tip doesn’t swivel so if that’s needed in your application then it should be added. There’s no rating for pull strength. The crimped end appears good, but I’m not sure how it’d do with thick cable over 200m. The fish tape and reel together weigh 21.5lb, not 12lb as shown in the product images.

Very bad product, don't buy it.

This works great for long conduit runs. Had to pull additional conductor in 170ft conduit with 2 90 degree sweeps and decided to give this a try before pulling out all wires. It worked better than expected and with a little cable lube it pushed right through, saved me time and money. The stand also has a brake built in brake. For pulling I taped the new conductor along the rod rather than use the small metal tip for fear it would break off. The tip does NOT swivel, so if your looking for one that does, this one isn't for you!

Excellent material, no tangles. The product quality is very good, the price is affordable, I am very happy.
