This is such a good speaker - a wee bit heavy if carrying it for any length of time, but definitely compact enough to be portable with a good sturdy strap that comes with it. The sound is amazing both indoors and outdoors. We used it as an Irish Dance group during parades and performances out in the streets and it is fantastic. Connects very quickly with bluetooth and has an app. Battery lasts a long time too. Definitely highly recommend this product, extremely high quality and great value for money.

It has been over 6 months since I have received this speaker and thought it was time to leave a review.Purchased as an upgrade to the (frankly excellent) ‘motion +’. This is a beast of a speaker! If you are fan of bass heavy music, I can’t recommend this highly enough. Definitely fits into the party speaker category. I am yet to meet someone who isn’t noticeably blown away when the bass line kicks in, so much noise from a (relatively) small speaker. You can of course turn the thunderous bass off for a more mellow sound. Personally I leave it on regardless of the style of music (currently listening to a mix of 70’s and 80’s as i write, however also listen to alot of edm, rap ect) as I feel it adds warmth where it was otherwise lacking. The accompanying app allows you to adjust the equaliser to your own tastes, however I have found the ‘soundcore signature’ setting to be good enough that it doesn’t need tweaking (be aware of early reviews before a much welcome update which slated the sound quality, it’s far better now). My sons received the delivery for me so i told them to have a play with it, I received a text message a few minutes later simply saying “OH MY GOD”, the boys were very impressed by it’s ability to shake the house.All day battery life. I’ve never ran it out despite having it fairly loud and on for the majority of the day. Does take a fair while to charge up though. You can charge your phone or other devices from the usb-C port at the rear so it doubles as a power-bank should you need to charge an item whilst out and about.It has some nice lighting integrated with the passive radiators at the sides. These do a great job of adding a nice visual touch to the sound while they move and shake (quite aggressively at higher volumes) to the beat. Again, these can also be turned off, which in turn will increase your battery life.Waterproof. Personally I have never tested this claim, plenty of others have though so it’s nice to know you can have this at a pool or balanced on the edge of a hot-tub or even working in the rain and not have to worry in the slightest.As you can tell, I’m a fan. This goes in my subwoofer-less car and honestly does a great job at bridging that gap. It gets a lot of use as an indoor speaker, replacing the need for a larger hi-Fi system, and often goes on trips with us. So far it’s been flawlessly reliable, not once have I had an issue. This is my 3rd Soundcore speaker and by far the most impressive.

i haven't really looked into getting a speaker since my Kitsound hive died, I couldn't see any speaker I liked for what I was looking for but when I see a few people at work with this brand "soundcore" the quality was really good and I seen the pair a speaker to speaker feature to act a surround sound at work was really good experienceso I looked and looked and speakers on here to find a cheaper option but to be honest, £200 pounds for a Bluetooth speaker some people might think that's crazy but when you've got this speaker blaring at 100% on the app and then also the device. there's no distortion, quality of the sound is amazing it's definitely value for money. fantastic bass clarity and the connectivity shocked me Im working in the fields and some fields I have to leave my phone at the speaker due to far distance but when I'm not in a large field connectivity is decentonly thing I dislike about this speaker is when you have the volume at 100% battery life only seems to last 4-8 hours not the full 24h but bare in mind that is a 140w speaker but even low volume levels are still goodthe app also let's you customise the equaliser to what the user wants or presets, you can also control the volume of the speaker play your music via the soundcore app. if you are into the RGB's then you can also control the lights on the app.something I found pretty cool was that you could turn off the device in the app. **the device has buttons so your able to switch it on control volume. connect to other soundcore speakers, lights, tws, and the bass feature. Sounds bigger, much bigger than it is. Has bags of power, solid connectivity, and looks great.As an audiophile of 55 years I'm impressed with the detail and separation which gives a solid sound stage.The base is deep but controlled & hasa more than decent overall dynamic range throughout.The only 'single box' unit better I've heard is my Naim Muso but that costs considerably more.Highly recommended by me.

Big heavy solid unit which needs a fair bit of EQing to get it sounding anywhere near decent. If it wasn’t for the EQ within the soundcore app this probably would have been getting sent back…but after a bit of tweaking and messing about (basically absolutely wiping out the low-end over emphasis) it sounds pretty good. Long battery life, goes pretty loud with minimal distortion (without the bass being cut back with the EQ I don’t know if this would still be the case). Solid Bluetooth connection. Shame there’s no lights on the volume and play/pause buttons. Can’t speak for longevity yet but overall a fairly good little unit although lacking refinement, but that’s not what this unit is about.

This speaker is not only beautiful, it's loud with deep punchy bass and great lighting effects. Returned a Sony ult field 1 and field 5 and so happy I did, this blows them out of the water.
