Underberg Natural Herb Bitters, 2-Ounce (Pack of 5)

Frankly, I am addicted to these sharp little aromatic bombs. The flavor of Underberg is difficult to describe, but think a Jagermeister and Amaro blend that actually tastes good. Slightly oily on the tongue with a sharp and eye-opening herbal bitterness that fades right along with the blast of hot alcohol, leaving a pleasing warm fresh sensation behind. Underberg really DOES work as stomach-settler and palate-cleanser, and I suspect also as a drink-enabler. For some reason after a few drinks and a single bottle of this, I am absolutely ready to drink MORE. I'm unsure exactly what German devilry is at work here, but I do know I want more of it. So will you. I use it on flights, at home after meals and even sip on this in movie theaters. Additionally,I usually have a brace stashed in my glove box for emergencies. Underberg also doubles as a decent breath-freshener in a pinch. Is there anything it can't do?? Bonus Game: collect the caps and turn them in for sweet Underberg kipple you absolutely don't need, but do want!

We keep these on hand to support digestion after a big or rich meal and they’re super helpful! Definitely an acquired taste, they are as bitter as the name suggests. But I find them quite enjoyable and appreciate the benefits.

Does what it says it will do, but the most shocking thing is how good it tastes. Licorice is the dominant flavor, but then there is a complexity of baking spices right after. If you hate licorice, then shoot it quickly to settle a meal, but if, like me, you like licorice, then slow down and enjoy this slowly after a meal.
