finally stopped holding charge
I bought these lights in November of 2018 and they worked great as under cabinet lighting for about 3 years then their charge started to shorten and now I think they are at the end of their life because the charger isn't fitting in for a tight connection and they will no longer charge. Overall I think 4 years is a respectable lifespan for such a product but I wish they lasted longer hence the 4-star review.

Great light, unless...
I thought everything was great about these lights until I used them in a particular way. They are small and convenient with great brightness and are easy to install and recharge. The 3-position switch (On/Off/Motion) is also a nice feature. In many situations, these would be ideal. Unfortunately, I am trying to use these in a place where they do not work well and it may be a common problem for others. I have a hall closet next to our kitchen with no light in it. The closet holds a lot of items that we use frequently. I was hoping to put a light in the closet so that it would sense motion any time we open the door. If the nearby ceiling lights in the kitchen are out when we open the closet door, the motion sensor works great and the light comes on. The problem we are having is that we don't walk around in the dark while cooking so the lights are on in the kitchen. When there is ambient room light during the day, or when we have other lights on in the evening, the motion sensor does not trigger when we open the closet...even though it is completely dark in the closet before opening it. Manually turning the light on and off (or holding your hand over the detector as is recommended on the side of the box) is not desirable when you have other stuff in your hands. Also, we put it up higher in the closet so it is not convenient to reach. If I could solve this issue, I'd give them more stars but am only giving 3 since there is no light coming on when needed.Update: Thanks to Brian Weith's video on disabling the light sensor, this motion sensor works just as I had hoped. Thanks Brian for instructions on covering the daylight sensor with tape. This works perfectly now in the pantry closet. I'm now giving them 4 stars. If the manufacturer would add a manual switch (or make the existing switch a 4-position switch) so that the daytime sensor could be disabled, these lights would be perfect and satisfy all the normal usage requirements.

Excellent price for quality, charge lasts long
I bought a similar item from a FB ad - big mistake and got taken to the cleaners. These, on the other hand, are great. They last a long time on a charge in a high use hallway and seem smart enough not to come on in the daylight like the FB ones did. Beware of the FB ad that looks like they are selling you a "pack of 10" or a "pack of 20" - I ordered a "pack of 20" and received one light. When I complained they stated that it means 10 LED's or 20 LED's in the ONE light. Utter nonsense and the price was high. Do yourself a favor - buy these and avoid the FB seller. Get Amazon protection on orders so you don't lose $43 on one bum light like me.

Great under-counter light
These work as advertised. Nice and bright, motion sensor works well. These came with a sticker over the light sensor so the motion sensor works during the day. If you remove the sticker it disables the sensor to prevent the light turning on if it's "bright enough". Mine is in a dark corner of the kitchen so I left the sticker on. I haven't timed how long it lasts between charges, but it's several weeks, and takes a couple of hours to recharge using my regular phone charger. My only slight complaint is that I think with the motion sensor it's on for a timed length, maybe 20sec, and turns off after that even if you keep moving below it, so you have to wave to get it on again, a bit annoying.

Don't remove the black sticker if your using it for a closet etc.
I bought these lights 2 years ago and they both died this week. They worked great the entire time, held a charge for a month or more and were too bright most of the time. For a $30 purchase I feel I got my money's worth and more. I did not expect them to last at all. I kept one in the bathroom and one in the mudroom. The motion detection was great and gave you just enough time to find the light switch before stubbing your toe on something. The only drawback for me is what to do with them now? They're not recyclable and I can't use them for anything else. This is a great value product, but I'll be replacing these with something that has replaceable batteries.

Best purchase
I bought this for my refrigerator. I have a newer refrigerator that has panel led lights. They run about $125. After replacing one I wasn’t going to do it again. I purchased this and it’s perfect. The brightness in great, magnetic so there was no installation, and the motion of opening the door is great. I used the other light for a closet and it works great!

Perfect for my daughers closet
This turned out great - I did have to modify it and open up the front panel to cover the light sensor. - someone posted a video on how to do it. Once the modification was done the lights do exactly what I was expecting them to do. with the magnetic backing I was able to put it on the opening where there is metal in the wall and it stays put and easy to grab for recharging. The batteries last a long time for closet use. - I have to say if I was not able to modify the light sensor I would have sent these back because they required complete darkness for them to kick on. if you have a window in the room it would not work at all during the day - so it would have been useless for me. so keep that in mind if you are handy and can watch the video then these are great - if not try to find some that do not have a light sensor in it just motion.

LED, rechargeable, easy installation
These are great, I put one on each nightstand. I've had them for over a month and I've only charged them before installation. They have three settings one is for activation when detecting motion, the other for them to be on continuously and the other for them to be stay off at all times. They serve as a flashlight also due to the fact they are held in place magnetically. That's why I love them, if I have to get up in the middle of the night and I don't want to turn on any lights I just open my drawer take them and I'm good. I am going to buy another pair for my closet and another for my Pax wardrobe.

Pretty good lights
The media could not be loaded. I ordered the silver-l and silver-2Good but could be better?- it’s great it has 3x switches (on, off & motion)- the motion detector only works in low light. I have pot lights in my kitchen so the lighting is a bit on the bright side so they won’t automatically come on unless I don’t turn on the lightsBrightness:- it gives enough light. Definitely better than the “pot” light ones. I find them to be pretty brightRemovable:- love the magnetic backing which makes it very easy to remove to recharge (when needed)- to install you need to place the double sided tape onto the backing. The tape is annoying to remove so keep that mind if you need to move the lighting around to another area but it holds in place very well

Work well
This is third set of this type of light I have tried. Finally they are bright enough and motion sensor works well. I am using these in our closets and have only charged them once so far.

Perfect
I put them in my closet for those dark areas of my closet that are difficult to see. Motion is immediate. Brightness is good. One charge lasts me months. I charged it after a couple of months, even though it didn’t need it. Magnetic back holds it in place easily and securely.

Fonctionne beaucoup mieux que les petites lampes en plastique quie j’avais acheté originalementI bought this product for my wardrobe (sliding doors). It is perfect. Despite the fact that the doors are made if frosted glass, it only detects movement when I open the door. The battery stays charged for a satisfactory duration for my use. I had to charge the side I use the most after 2 weeks. It's bright enough to finally let me see my clothes! Much better than the small puck I originally bought

Would definitely recommend for specific uses
I really like this product in that it's plenty bright, rechargeable (so no need for wires), and the charge lasts really well. The motion sensing isn't super sensitive, but it's not bad. I used mine for closets, and instead of putting the light inside the closet, I attached it to the inside of the door at the top. That way, it senses the motion whenever I open the closet door and I don't need to wave at it. I also like that it doesn't turn on unless it's in low-light conditions, so it doesn't burn battery unnecessarily. If I open the closet door in daylight conditions but want to find something buried in the back, I can just scoop the light off the door and use it like a flashlight; moving it is enough to activate the motion sensor inside the darkened closet area. I'd definitely recommend them!
