Nuwave Diamond Induction Cooktop, New & Improved Electric Burner with Probe

These Nuwave induction cooktops are unique because of their round shape. It is quite compact; I really like it. It also allows you to limit the current draw; useful in my antique house. This model has a temperature probe, which gives more control over meat and fish cooking. I use it with a non-slip sheet between cooktop and pan; this helps a lot with slippery pans, and helps keep the cooktop clean. The quality is good; the flexibility and features are great for the money. I would buy it again.

My husband and I are full-time RVs and we love to travel. When I came across this Nuwave cooktop I was hooked period I don’t like using the propane stove so this cooktop was better for me. And it’s a good size that I could fit in one of the drawers. I use this cook every day for every meal. It’s so versatile that you can do just about anything in it. Now the diamond is a little different than my older unit and the settings are a little different. It’s automatically set to 500. Which of course you can adjust. Another new feature with the diamond is there are different wattages from 900 to 1400 to cook your Foods. And of course at the 1400 W setting your food cooks a bit faster so you have to control your temperature a little bit more. The size is very space-saving. It’s very easy to use it. Cleans up easy and I find that Food cooks evenly all over the pan or pot that you’re using. I highly recommend this unit weather you live in a house, Motorhome or are going camping. Also, with my cooktop, it comes with a probe and a probe holder. In one of my pictures, it shows the probe, and I also demonstrate the probe in the holder in the pot. You would insert the probe into whatever you’re cooking. I used a very, very thick pork chop, and I used the probe in that and I was very surprised at how well, the probe worked in cooking the pork chop to completely done and it was very moist and juicy in the inside of the chop. And you can use it on just about anything. So if you’re looking for something convenient, easy to use, easy to clean and , small enough, depending on the size that you buy, to fit in just about any drawer or cabinet you may have. Again, I highly recommend this and it’s the only thing I use when cooking. Also, it cuts down on the heat when cooking. Like when you use your stove, how it heats up your house you won’t have this with your cooktop. And to me, that’s a plus.

We live in an RV and keeping it cool in the summer is vital. The RV comes with a gas stove and that is THE WORST for cooking on in the summer! We bought this to try to reduce the amount of heat we were adding to our RV on Summer evenings! It did exactly that! It allowed us to still cook indoors without adding too much heat for the ACs to overcome! My only complaint is that I can't find one bigger!! The unit works great and the temperature control range is very nice! It's fairly easy to use right out of the box. There are many other functions we haven't used (temp probe, programming, etc) but the basic cooking features work well. It's small enough that it doesn't add too much bulk to our smaller living situation!

Love this extra portable burner.

Cooks cooler and cleaner than a gas burner. (Walls and backsplash don't get so greasy so often like the gas burner on the range does.) Uses less power and does not heat up the kitchen, so it's no problem cooking meals even during the hot summer days. Smaller than the usual size, annoying that I have to push the on/off switch and then the start buttons to start cooking when the other models only require one button to begin cooking. I do like the three power level choices, where I usually use the 600 watt setting to save the power demands in the kitchen wall so that I can run two cooktop burners (both at 600 watt setting) along with an air fryer simultaneously without tripping the circuit breaker. It's a little noisier than my other larger unit. Easy to use and control the cooking temperatures, and has a timer setting to shut off after default setting of one hour, but you may set it to any amount of time before shutoff occurs. I find this a great safety feature in case you forget that you are cooking something, you are less likely to burn it. I do prefer the larger models for more convenience, but on the other hand, this smaller model would be more ideal for travel use.

I LOVE this thing! No waiting for it to warm up, even temps, excellent cooktop! Tons of buttons, but easy to use. Wipe clean!

I love using the nuwave burner. It's incredibly easy to use and having the thermometer helps me verify that the temperature is where it should be. I use it for infusing oils at a low temperature over a long period of time. It works perfectly and is easy to set the temperature and timer to keep it going on around 95 degrees for 24-48 hours. It's easy to clean and even though there is some noise from the fan that runs it's not too loud or so annoying that I wouldn't recommend the product. It sounds like a background fan running. It seems to be a well made product. I have been using it for a few months now and haven't had any issues.

The heat controlled by the timer is why I purchased this unit as a personal safety measure. I now do all of my cooking and food prep with time controlled heat built in to the device (e.g. air fryer combo and microwave.) I can only say I wish I had done this a long time ago. I purchased a 6” plate which perfectly accommodates both my 8” and 10” cast iron pans.
