ANDES Sting Proof Bee Suit with Gloves & Fencing Veil, Size S(4'11"-5'3")

We had an underground nest of nasty yellowjackets. Suited up with the ANDES suit and was able to eliminate the whole nest with no stings at all. The gloves made it very easy to manipulate the duster, the screened hood made it easy to see (wear a baseball hat under to have it project out a little more), and the zippers worked and sealed perfectly. No worries at all using this suit!

The suit is fantastic for the price, smooth running zippers, thick enough to keep stingers away. The problem is the sizing. It's actually hilarious. I ordered a medium as it states that size suits people up to 6'3". NOPE! That was riding so high up my....Anyway, make sure you size up a couple. I exchanged my medium for an XL. I'll see how that goes tomorrow. Please fix your description lol. But, thanks for making a quality suit. It did allow me to clear a wasp nest while they were swarming, and I didn't get stung. But felt like I was wearing a dagum g string lmao. Edit** The XL fits great! 5 stars. Wish it was 3 layers, but those are considerably more expensive. For the price, I don't think you can beat this suit. Definitely recommend it, and already shared the link.

I needed to move a bumblebee nest that was in my chicken coop and did not want to pay $$$$ to a professional. I was afraid the pro might destroy the nest instead of move it because most of the pros around here will only remove and relocate honey bees. Bumblebees can pack a pretty good punch as I discovered when I accidentally kicked their nest, but when not directly disturbed they are pretty benign. The only real problem with them is they increase in number over the summer and I was afraid my chickens would either attack them or visa versa. I am not a beekeeper so do not know how to judge the quaility of a bee suit, but this one seems to be well made with tightly woven material and leather glove/gauntlets. On the advice of another reviewer, I wore a ball cap backwards to keep the back of the head cover away from my neck ....good avice! I was able to go in after dark and gently scoop up the entire nest and relocate it to an old dog house on the far edge of my yard. This was 3 weeks ago and they are still there and thriving! During the move I was attacked around my face but the net kept me safe. I wore jeans and a long sleeved shirt for extra protection and I came out of it unstung. The price was so reasonable! It was worth every penny because not only did it protect me, but it allowed me to keep those precious bees nearby. And now I will have the suit if the need arrises again. I am 5 ft 4 in, 135 lb and I ordered a medium. It was slightly large on me.

I bought the XXL Bee Suit hoping for full coverage, and overall the quality is decent. The suit covers every inch from head to ankle and provides solid protection against bees. The goatskin gloves are thick and protective, the ventilated hood is comfortable with good visibility, and the material feels durable for backyard beekeeping. However, the fit is the biggest issue. Even in XXL, it feels tight around the shoulders and waist, and the elastic bands are a bit too strong, making it uncomfortable during longer use. I wish the sizing was more generous. Other than the fitting problem, it’s a good beekeeper suit for the price and does its main job well.

It did the job for me as I tried to see what kind of bees or wasps I was dealing with. It was about 78 degrees when I decided to climb the ladder and face the bees and the suit and mask kept me safe and protected. The bees were all around me, but I received no stings. The suit is made well so I will put it to the side for the next time I need it. I grabbed the 2XL suit because I'm about 6'1" tall and it just worked for me. The size chart says 2XL is good for up to 6'3" but I question that .the length did fully cover my arms and legs so I will not complain.

Not familiar with bee suit, but it seems to be made very sturdy. I like how thick the material that they use to make the suit. It a perfect fit for a 2XL I’m 5’8 230lbs.

It works good. Used it to water outdoor plants in WI tonight. I had 2 very bad bee stings in my hands this summer and they are still recouping. This time of year in WI is bee, wasp season. Thank you. I can feel better about going outside.

I don’t usually do reviews. I found a yellowjacket infestation the hard way; 20 plus stings with them chasing me across the yard and into the pool. I swore revenge, ordered this suit, and killed every last one of them without getting stung again. Being good against a honeybee sting is one thing, but these things were swarming the suit. It protected me totally. If you have to do something like this, get this suit. Worth every penny.

Suit is plenty big. I’m 5.3 medium build and I thought that I had read that the suit ran on the smaller side, so I ordered a large. Too big really but it doesn’t matter in the scheme of things. Better too big than too small. The material is on the thin side. Nice for summer.
