Eliminate the rat population, stop the breeding
In the spring, I was having a problem with field rats entering my enclosure to eat the leftover feed from my chickens. Since I knew having rats would be a big problem really quickly I came at it from several different fronts. Birth control being one of the things I incorporated to eliminate the population as quickly as possible. The rats love these sausages. They run off with them immediately. And it mustโve helped because I only see an occasional one every now and again. If you have a rat problem or even start seeing rats around your enclosure, I recommend trying this product along with other measures you will use to eliminate the population as quickly as possible. Stop the breeding. Then trap.. It sounds harsh, but it is absolutely necessary when dealing with rats.

Solved the rodent problem
This stuff is amazing. I tried everything to get rid of the rats hanging around the chicken coop. I was afraid to use poison because of my birds and wildlife in the area. I bought a small bag of Evolve to try it. After 2 weeks I noticed a reduction in the rat population so I bought the large bag of Evolve. Itโs been three weeks now and Iโm so happy with this product. In a few more weeks I expect my rodent problem to be solved. Iโll continue to use Evolve for maintenance in case they return. Iโm so glad I found this!

Defective product: many baits oozed out from the end
I had high exceptions, but not everything was ok. 1. The instructions, and a company representative, said there would be small holes in the middle of the sausage bait that's used for stringing them on the bait station wire. There were no holes. 2. The ends of about half of the sausage baits had the insides spilling out, causing the rest of the bait to dry up. I wrote to the company and the representative said, "Unfortunately, Amazon orders do not come directly from us and actually come from Amazon facilities. The bait can be damaged during shipping if not handled properly during the shipping process." So his attitude is, like, hey buyer, your out of luck, a not very supportive response. So my attitude is that this is an Amazon Prime order, so back it goes.

Expensive, but good for peace of mind
I'm using these in an equine barn, where the rats were digging in the gravel floor between the barn sections and creating havoc. Once I started using these, they pretty much kept to one room and stopped digging and chewing their way into other sections of the barn. I put two out every night and they are gone in the morning. It really seems like there is less evidence of a lot of rats after 3 months of use. I like that they are not a poison, so I don't have to worry about the wildlife that might prey upon the rats if they're outside the barn. There is no odor that I can detect. It's a more expensive way to control the rat population, but I feel much better about it than poisoning them. I tried various traps and the rats were so smart they just ignored them!

Good product in the right environment
This product would work better in a warehouse, or someplace where there are no other animals. I had very little luck with it in a farm setting with livestock. I couldn't restrict water. I will ask that the rars loved the taste. They went for it right away. It was suggested that I install automatic watering system, however, where the money would come from to do that, was not suggested. I wanted to trap and relocate to a large forest a few miles away, and was hoping the birth control would give me the time to do so. Because of the water, it was an epic fail.

Haven't seen any babies
Seems to be working well. The rats have been eating the sausages and I haven't seen any young rats in months.

Rodents luv it. I want to see nothing move though.
I just say this it's good idea if you can afford to keep buying. I will say I put the bag in my closet and when I looked back the bag was empty the mice got it. I broke down and got a cat and use the dirty cat litter around the outside of my house because it was like my house was infested. The cat was killing 4 mice a day. The city does nothing or the rodent issues in Gary Indiana. I can say I use them outside my yard with other bait poison also in jugs and you could tell something was eating it up some jugs look tore up like a feeding frenzy.

This Evolve Product is Only Too Expensive Based On One's Toleration of Mice
I used this Evolve product last year when I was having a terrific mice problem. I guess they were producing babies as I was catching them in the traps and just couldn't get ahead of the population! Well this product completely turned the situation around. I can't say how many months it took, but suddenly no evidence of even one mouse in the house! I didn't have any Rats, so don't know how effective that would be. I saw very few dead mice, that I anticipated would happen as they aged. I did see some very young ones, a couple of times. I truly believe the Mothers must have left when they weren't producing babies. I don't know what their lifespan is, but I would have expected some adults to be around for a while to the end of their normal life cycle. I did have some traps out for a while. Even so, this product clearly made the difference in clearing them out. I was shocked when I realized they were all gone. I cleaned their mess up and no mess returned, and didn't see any running around for my Rat Terriers to have to chase, and believe me if a mouse gets in the house they'll whine and pace the floor, until it gets caught, but these Deer mice were very smart, so I'm glad they loved those little sausages! They were quick to find and devour them. It was much less painful placing the sausages, than setting and clearing traps. I used a plastic strawberry container, clipping out spacers between the holes on the end, and the mice loved the idea. Mice love to get on tables and furniture, so there was no chance the sausage would roll off to the floor where a dog could get it.

This works & thankfully now available in the UK!
I'm so happy to be able to finally buy this in the UK! I'd previously spent ยฃ60 getting it imported from the US as my evil neighbour had poisoned my family of 3 hedgehogs and my rescue birds by throwing rat poison everywhere. It makes no sense that poison that takes days to erode an animals veins and arteries in excruciating pain is available in supermarkets in the UK yet this wasn't. I can say in the year since using this I'd only seen a few elderly ratties plodding around, living out their natural lifespan before dying off... no newbies. This product is groundbreaking in humane population control. I'm thrilled to be able to buy it in the UK. I hope councils start to use it. Make poison illegal!

Unfortunately not readily available in the UK.
The rats certainly like it.

Long wait for delivery
Took a long time to arrive, stuck in customs. I put one sausage out every morning and evening and they are both taken which is good. Won't know if effective for a long time. Put another two in a bait box but they haven;t been touched yet.

Not tested sufficiently to rate
Still have rats so can't comment on how well they work. I'd imagine you need to use these for a good 6 months to catch all the rats in the area until you can comment.
