Interested in the case but no mag safe support?

Thru Amazon I ordered that model for my Pixel 7A. The plastic back of the case was not quite long enough for my phone. Amazon referred me to the OtterBox for either a refund or replacement. When I contacted them there was no refund, but they would send me a new cover, which I took. The new cover was the exact same size as the first. A friend cut a slice out the cover and taped it on. When I tried to call they had disconnected their phone number. I don't know what the "mag safe support" is, but I would wait until they sort things out. Somewhere I heard that the business might have been sold, but no proof. You might want to try to phone OtterBox directly before buying.

Does it make the phone heavier?

I choose not to answer questions because what I wrote is all that I know. Hope the business can get itself straightened out soon. Several friends recommended that brand, but that was a month or so before I had the problem.
