It's an amazing accessory for older cars that don't have build in Android Auto head unit. Easy to setup and route the cables for the rear camera, power, and aux to the car's stereo.I haven't experienced any issues since installing it. I connect my phone to it wirelessly without any input from me. It has good sound quality and good quality from both the front and rear camera.

The head unit on my car doesn't have android auto, rather than change the unit, I decided to try this after watching video reviews. Once I decided on placement of the included mount, set up was quite straightforward. Bluetooth to my head unit, and bluetooth from my phone to the carpuride unit. Sound quality is good. I had the included reverse camera fitted with an audio upgrade, everything works well. As a side note, If you use an android phone, I recommend poweramp graphic equaliser. Remember to go into the carpuride settings, and poweramp settings to allow all the features. Then enjoy!

We used this car to add a bit more functionality to the dash of our older car. We love the dash cam feature, which offers us a small discount from our monthly insurance premium. The screen itself is very low profile and doesn't obstruct windscreen visibility. The suction that holds the device to the windscreen is quite powerful and won't be coming loose any time soon.The only downside is that we aren't sure how to install the reverse camera without professional help, which is why I am only rating 4/5. We would very much like to have a reverse camera though, so we'll hold onto it for now. If the quality for the rear camera matches the dash mount set up, then I'm certain that it will be most excellent.

I've not had much luck with small branded aftermarket head units in the past and didn't want to buy a Sony with the hassle of fitting it in my van. This carpuride surprised me at how good it is! Easy to use, easy to set up the dash cam quality is brilliant. I like how it comes on and automatically connects to my phone and starts up Android auto. I'm really happy with it but let's see what it's like when I go on my road trip

The screen is pretty good but restarts when it feels like it. The main gripe is that the software doesn’t allow you to rotate the reverse cam image so you have to orient the camera so limits install locations. The cable was not long enough to install anywhere else. I contacted Carpuride by email and they said I installed wrong. Well I installed according to my limitations of your product so there’s that. Frustrating. I may end up returning for such a basic software issue that is apparently my fault.

I thought I would take time to review this as it’s an excellent bit of kit. I’ll try and answer some of the questions I wondered when buying it.Firstly, the mounting, both are very good and I use it stuck to the windscreen and resting on the dash to stop and wobble. This combo works a treat and trust me when I say, once it’s on, it’s going nowhere. Moving it between cars is a nightmare because it sticks phenomenally well, make sure you get it exactly where you want it before letting it touch the glass, it’s sticky as the toffee pudding..Next thing is functionality. You connect to it with your phone and it does this automatically every time you get in. If you want the sound through your car speakers and have a Bluetooth head unit, just select Bluetooth Audio out, connect to the car, job done. It does that automatically every time then. Works a treat.The screen is excellent, bright, crystal clear and responsive. I use Google Maps in Satellite/Hybrid mode so you can see what’s around you as you drive. It’s stunning, especially interesting driving out in the lanes and alongside lakes etc as you can see them all on your screen as you pass. It works with all the major apps though haven’t found one it can’t do yet, like any other Car Play device.For £100 or under it really is excellent value at the 10th of the price a CarPlay install would cost you, I am really impressed with it and the sound output quality is better than my Pioneer Head Unit. So yes, if you are after one of these devices, I promise you won’t regret it. Cheers and have a nice day whoever reads this essay 😂👍

Everything works really well although getting two bluetooth connections correctly set up took a while (One to the car for audio and one to the Carpuride for Android Auto).My only negative with the unit is not apparent until it is dark when the display is way too bright and is a real distraction from what is going on outside. It auto-adjusts to dim the output but this wasn't enough, I put it into manual and set it to its minimum setting but its still too bright. I therefore don't use it at night which is a real disadvantage.This problem is bad for me as the mount I have is behind the steering wheel, if you have the device mounted out of the way it won't be so bad (It's a Citroen with centre mounted dash displays).
