This was a wedding gift for a couple who live in the country and can lose electricity at any time from a storm. It's a beautiful gift to use year round.

I have not had to use these lamps yet but living near the coast, I bought them in case of a power outage. They are small but made very nice.

These oil lamps are both beautiful and practical. They’re the perfect size for adding a cozy, warm glow to any room. The design is simple but elegant and they’re easy to fill and light. I used them during a power outage due to a recent hurricane and they worked great every night for almost 2 weeks. They also make great decorative pieces when not in use. Highly recommend if you’re looking for compact, stylish oil lamps!

I wanted these for emergency purpose and they're the perfect size for the bedrooms. You never know these days and it's nice to be able to have access to light without it being a candle. Comes with the wick already inside and ready to burn. I like the clear glass so you can tell how much kerosine is left at the bottom. Beautiful and functional

This listing says large kerosene lanterns, but really, these are about half the size of the large lanterns. This doesn't detract from their construction, and they are made well. I like the easy adjustment of the wicks. It won't take a lot of kerosene to fill the reserves, so a 16 oz. bottle should do the trick. I like that these are less intrusive in my decor. I am happy in general with these small lanterns.
