Superb Watch!
I have had my eye on this watch for months. It is a classic watch that reminds on of an old Longines Heritage watch from the 1960's. I was reluctant to purchase it because I recently bought a watch that I had had my eye on, and I have only worn it twice in four months. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. But this watch is another kettle of fish altogether. I absolutely love this watch. It looks great and old school classy!

Great value watch for the money!
The orient bambino small seconds is a classy watch with a timeless design. The champagne sunburst dial looks way better in person, changing depending on the light. I have really come to appreciate the use of both Arabic numerals and dauphine styled indices. The understated design of the watch makes it slide under the radar, and always holds my gaze when I look down to check the time. I have grown fond of the sub seconds register more than I thought I would have compared to a traditional seconds hand. I am perfectly fine with a mineral crystal since I usually am careful with my watches but more so because of the dome shape it has and the way it distorts around the edge of the crystal. The dial has a slight sunburst finish, not the most pronounced but is still noticeable. Also there is minimal wording on the dial which helps to keep it clean and simple. Although I know many people don’t like the date complication on the dial, I do find it quite useful so no complaints here. I love the crocodile design embossed into the leather, the leather strap does come in rather stiff but has broken in after a couple days of use. The watch does have a display case back and houses orients in house movement, which does not have the prettiest of finishing but is signed with orient’s logo and a few designs on the rotor weight. The finishing on the case is fantastic with polishing on the lugs and bezel and a brushed finish on the sides of the case. Lastly the watch has been keeping okay time gaining anywhere from 8-10 seconds a day. Overall the orient small seconds is a great watch for the money with very few complaints especially for the price that you pay. If you’re looking for a nice dress watch under $200, don’t hesitate and buy this!

ORIENT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT
This is a beauty! This is also my second Orient Bambino. I was so impressed with the Bambino 2nd Gen that I had to get myself another one. I just love the simplicity and elegance of this watch. The small seconds dial is the jewel on the crown. This is as Old School as it gets. It reminds me of the watch my grandfather wore most of his life. The golden case and off-white dial and see-through movement are splendid. Great value. Highly recommended.

Looks good but doesn't feel high end
I was expecting that there's a bit more weight into it. The leather strap doesn't really feel genuine. For some reason it feels cheap.

Old-school, understated elegance - with a 21mm wide strap
This is my first Orient and my first automatic but it certainly won't be my last. It's just beautifully made and exudes old-fashioned charm and elegance without calling undue attention to itself with flashy bells and whistles. What it does have, apart from its good looks, is the eminently useful hand-winding feature as well as hacking, which stops the second hand for accurate time setting. Another nice feature is the exhibition back which shows the inner workings of the watch and how they operate. Please note that the strap width is actually 21mm and not 20mm as the listed specs indicate. Apart from that, I was looking for a worthy watch to attach to a beautiful Icelandic reindeer leather watch strap made by my nephew and I found it for sure. This watch is now a family heirloom.

Worth more than what is paid
The watch is simply beautiful. The dome that has it makes it look spectacular.

Beautiful domed mineral glass and dial
I have really enjoyed this watch. It is my third Orient Watch and it has lived up to the reputation that Orient has earned for making solid, affordable watches. The rotor is quiet, the time-keeping is perfectly adequate for an auto at this price point (maybe ~+10 sec per day). The beautiful domed crystal is excellent. And the finishing on the case is good too. The 21mm lug width wasn't a big problem, because there are companies like WatchGecko that make nice 21mm straps. But I've also found that its not hard to stick a nice worn-in 22mm leather strap onto it; its only 1mm difference which is tiny, but it feels safer than using a 19-20mm and having a little gap.
