I was craving a peanut butter jelly sandwich, and this nut butter is a great healthier alternative to replace peanut butter. To avoid the sugar, I used Chia Smash fruit spread from Smash Foods as a jelly substitute. Fruit spread from Smash Food Jam combined with this nut butter from Blueprint made an amazing healthier alternative to peanut butter jelly sandwich. In fact, I don't even miss peanut butter jelly sandwich anymore. I would definitely buy this nut butter again.

This is the perfect nut butter. It's a little crunchy and not super high in Omega 6 like almond butter. I keep it in the refrigerator and stir it up before spreading. (easier on toast)

That said, this particular product—Nutty Butter—feels like it hit the shelves before it hit the mark.Let’s start with the positives: macadamia nuts and walnuts are nutritional powerhouses. Macadamias are rich in monounsaturated fats that support heart health and may help reduce inflammation. Walnuts are packed with alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant-based omega-3 fatty acid shown in recent studies to support brain function and cardiovascular health. Together, they make a compelling duo for anyone chasing optimized performance and long-term wellness.But here’s the issue—and it's a big one. My jar had a large piece of plastic along with several smaller plastic shards, and what looked like sharp walnut shell fragments. That’s a serious safety concern, especially from a brand built on precision and data-driven quality.The flavor and texture? Pretty solid. Slightly oily, but the nut blend delivers a rich, earthy taste that you don’t usually get from mass-market nut butters. With a little more refinement and better quality control, this could be a game-changer.I’m rooting for Bryan and the Kernel team, but Nutty Butter isn’t ready for prime time just yet. I’ll be watching for version 2.0.

Very clumpy at first but once you mix it, it spreads on toast just as well as peanut butter would. I enjoy the taste because it’s not too overpowering - it’s a nice combo of macadamia nut and walnut (walnut is leading flavor). I’d order this again.

I was disappointed in the taste of this nut butter. There was no macadamia flavor only walnut flavor. I have had other brands that have had more macadamia flavor in it. Consistency was loose but most of these nut butters are.

So sorry to report that I almost chipped a tooth on shell fragments in this absolutely delicious nut butter. Thought it might have been a fluke, but it happened again, what a bummer.8/20/25 Update:**The company was very apologetic & reached out to offer a full refund. I hope they will find a way to rectify the shell fragment problem soon, as this is delicious nutbutter, and I am looking forward to giving it another try. I'll be watching reviews for others' impressions going forward.

This is by far my favorite walnut butter. It’s pricey but worth it.
