Issues with the gear clutch

Good quality and easy to fix lock. Finger locking is responsive and works well. Didn’t face any issue so far, thanks

Initial setup was hassle-free and intuitive.However, a notable concern revolves around the lock's durability. It appears susceptible to damage upon accidental impact, raising doubts about its suitability for securing main entry doors. A more robust design may be warranted for enhanced security and peace of mind.

It was really a very bad purchase.I bought it cause I wanted to pair it with Alexa but it was impossible so I requested a return.

1- the product does not have a USB-C port, as mentioned in the description.2- The Bluetooth range is small, around 70 CM. This is challenging to use with Wifi gateways to enable remote access.3- UAE main doors are usually 70 mm. So select carefully.Overall, the product is a fingerprint lock mainly, forget about Smart. You can use the app but you need to hug the door to catch blue Bluetooth range. Bluetooth is needed during setup to define fingerprints and passwords. Mainly it will connect one time and it will be challenging later. But once you configured fingerprints it works like sharm.The reason I put 3 stars because they mislead about USB-C and this was one of the reason to bought it. But I don't want to invest more in such gear so I use it because of price range.
