I think it's to short and the hair sticks to it really bad.

This works really well for keeping the cut hair off my clients. BUT, it seems to work well with people who are of normal weight. It keeps falling off my heavier clients which sucks. The cut hair does stick to the matt because of the material it's made from (rubber). My suggestion for improving this product would be in the design. The weighted front needs to come down farther in the front so it's not sticking people in the neck. I believe that's the problem that's causing it to not stay put on my heavier clients. Also, the top part of the product where the hair falls into, needs to be made of a different material that hair doesn't stick to so the hair falls off easily. Other then that, it's a pretty good product! Gave only 4 stars because it keeps falling off my heavier clients which is very annoying to have to keep readjusting it during haircuts. That just slows me down.

I have been a hairstylist for 30 years and bought most of the cutting collars at the hair shows, never had problems before...This was the best one I could find on amazon and it is horrible... it is very heavy, but the worst of all is that the material it is made of is sticky and all the hair clamps onto it and is impossible to clean of, even washing it does hardly help.

The collar came folded in its package. However, the crease where it was folded is seemingly permanent so the collar doesn’t sit properly while in use. It’s definitely an issue with the material. Otherwise, the length and weight of the collar were sufficient.
